A total disaster. Rude and uninterested staff. Untidy toilets.
A miserable 5 tickets each to get 5 drinks - felt like Butlins in the 1960s. Dried out food. Dull
interior. Smoking section not screened off,) and the lounge is literally miles and miles from the gate. Completely exhausted when we
arrived there - so dont buy much duty free unless you have someone to help you carry it.

I can't believe AA can get away with calling this a lounge. No food, I'm sorry but carrot, celery
sticks and pretzels does not constitute adequate food. Two drink vouchers are supplied to those
travelling in Business or First and grumpy staff throughout. Not to mention that the lounge is pre-
security screening so location of is not great. A visit to this lounge is probably not worth the
time and effort.

The new Admirals Club at Narita T2 is a vast improvement compared to AA's previous facility. The
lounge had only been open a week when I visited. It is a large space with plenty of areas for
relaxing and working with great views of the tarmac and lots of natural light.
Food was standard for most lounges at Narita with an assortment of sushi, noodles, sandwiches etc. Staff on the front
desk were friendly and efficient when I checked in after my CX flight from HKG. Don't understand
why AA didn't include a Flagship Lounge in this facility - would have been a nice respite for First
Class and oneworld Emerald passengers. I can only assume the demand is not there. |

A clean, modern lounge in a small, convenient Airport. Located on a mezzanine level above security,
the SNA Admiral's Club was a great way to relax.
Upon my arrival, the Receptionist mentioned that the Bartender made "the best bloody mary ever" and she was'nt lying - it was great.
Computer access is limited to 1 PC and Printer, but it was a quiet Saturday when I was there and I had my run of the
place. Restroom was immaculate.
Plenty of water and juice at the bar along with munchies. I look forward to visiting again soon.

The San Diego Admiral's Club is fairly small but very convenient with good seating areas and
sufficient computer access for the traffic there.
The Bar has free cookies, pretzels, and peanuts along with orange juice, water, and soft drinks for free.
The tiny bathrooms need improvement and better amenities.
The Staff really shines here - there is no task too large or small for them to do.
It leaves you with a great lasting impression of San Diego

I think I'm right in saying that the lounge is a pretty new addition, opened in May 2006.
The place itself is huge and quite a nice design in that it's got lots of corridors and hidey holes
so that you can find yourself some space away from the main big part of the lounge.
Staff are friendly enough, but questions tend to throw them (perhaps it's the English accent!).
T-Mobile wifi's good (I thought that American gave free internet?) although there was some random
lady walking around asking if she could borrow people's laptops to check her e-mail (I was there 90
minutes and no-one did.
Catering leaves a bit to be desired, water and pretzels were the only thing that was free
(understand you get better catering (dry crackers) in the afternoon). There is a bar, but for the
Europeans (where it's all free) it seems a bit cheeky to ask for money for drinks when you're
spending $600 on a 50 minute flight ticket.
However, the lounge itself is relaxing, airey, modern and a damn sight better than having to sit on
the plastic seats with the rest of the world.

Decor is straight out of "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and the service probably not far off it either -
though not in a good way.
The lounge is quite small and so during the rushes you end up with absolutely nowhere to get away
- and you end up having to get involved in conversations you might perhaps wish to avoid as I did.
Food gets you into the American diet with lots of breakfast pastries. They have cereal - and
cranberry juice which is a rarity still.
Service was a bit shoddy in the lounge itself (apart from the lovely American lady on the desk who
was excellent). The milk had run out (thereby making the cereal a bit crunchy) and there were
loads of dirty plates lying around - but the close proximity of the kitchen made it apparent that
the staff weren't that busy (though one had a nasty cough and seemingly no hand to cover her mouth
which put me off eating anything that was open to the air anyway).
Perhaps I'm being overly harsh, but when you're in the "Flagship" Lounge you kind of expect them to
lead the way on the service front, which isn't the case when you compare it to the standard
Admiral's Club lounges around the world. Next time I'd probably take a look in the Admiral's lounge
to see if that's better (it is probably bigger which would be a huge benefit). It's not even that
handy for the BA flight either, good sprint to the finish once the flight's called.

A large and expansive lounge, with a number of private quiet nooks. It is a co-operated BA Terraces,
so expect higher standards of service. Entering as QFclub we were given wet bar vouchers, & enjoyed
a complimentary drink for the first time in an Admirals Club.
A good sized lounge, it only suffers from a lack of natural light and views of runway
activities. There are an acceptable number of PC’s.
The standard of complimentary food services is much higher than a standard AA lounge, with
a good selection of hors d ourves and cheese/crackers. That said, it is still an AA lounge, so expect
to pay for things that are inclusive in other OneWorld lounges.
The member of staff we encountered on the front desk was excellent, with a strong British
accent we were warmly welcomed to the Admirals Club and apologetically given our drink vouchers,
(perhaps BA/QF are aware of the decline in alliance partner AA’s service standards).
