Several trips Southampton-Jersey return flights during October and November. All flights were early and the
cabin staff pleasant and the modern Dash 8 aircraft ideal for the route. Bearing in mind that Flybe quite
clearly state the size limitation in respect of cabin baggage I'm surprised that so many folk complain bitterly
when caught out.

We use this company regularly for Isle of Man flights to see family. Prices are always ridiculously high for a
40 minute flight. Considering the costs it would be good to have a free hot drink and biscuits. Instead
cabin staff are obliged to offer over-priced drink and snacks. Who in their right mind takes advantage of
this? However, cheerful cabin staff. Flew back from Ronaldsway to Birmingham recently - 75 minutes late
leaving. This route desperately needs competition.

Manchester to Belfast. Alighted from an Emirates flight from Dubai to continue to Belfast with Flybe only to
find they would not carry our luggage which was booked through to Belfast. They refused to allow me to take
my duty free into the cabin which had been security packaged in Dubai. To have my luggage on their aircraft
cost me an extra £90 on the spot. The supervisor was rude when we asked for an explanation, telling us that
if we didn't pay, our luggage was staying in Manchester. Of course we paid but will not fly them again.

Furious about the cabin baggage trap. I bought cabin bag expressly for short journeys. I went to Ireland with
it - all fine. My Next Flybe flight to Spain, less than a month later. My cabin bag was 2 cms too long - result I
had to pay £60. I was incensed by the fact that other passengers had cabin bags and bottles etc from Duty
Free that took up much more space than 2 cms. Having raved about Flybe and used them a lot, I now hope to
never fly with them again. It was a slick money-making ruse in the most cynical possible way.

Another typical Flybe fiasco, supposed to fly Southampton to Edinburgh on the 09.10 this morning, bussed to
Bournemouth as foggy in Southampton, on 2 separate busses, then eventually took off at 13.30, by which
time the fog had cleared at Southampton. Precious little info at Southampton, all Serviceair staff seemed to
want to do was get us out of the terminal, and no info or staff on hand at Bournemouth. Of interest was the
Flybe passenger charter information we were given as we boarded the bus at Southampton, clearly stating
we’d be provided food / meal vouchers when the delay was 3 hours or over. At Bournemouth 12.10 came and
went, with no sign of these, and nothing turned up by the time we flew - and no apology when we did fly.
Typical flybe, the customer comes last. If there was any other alternative on this route I’d use it!

I don't know if I have been lucky but I have little to complain about. Whilst certainly not cheap, I would
rather fly to Scotland than get the train. For a 45 min flight, I expect a welcome when boarding and a farewell
upon exiting, and that is what I get. There are issues with timekeeping. BHX-EDI trip onboard Embraer.
Quiet, clean, relatively comfortable.

Unfortunately I needed to use flybe regularly flying to Dusseldorf. Delays (with lies and bad information), diversions
to Cologne (when their delays hit the Dusseldorf curfew) and Birmingham (when they save money by cancelling
the Manchester flight). Very poor airline. I book in advance now and use Lufthansa when possible. Extra charges
on baggage and credit card usage mean that flyBe aren't even that cheap.

Used Flybe despite the awful reviews as they fly from our local airport. Flew to Malaga using a cabin bag that has
been used many times before on Flybe flights to Dublin. I was pulled out of the security line by a very officious,
rude, female Flybe member of staff who advised me the bag was too large to take into the cabin even though I told
her I am a regular flyer with Flybe, always used the same bag, had never been stopped before and the bag fits
easily into the overhead locker. This member of staff was sarcastic in manner and refused my proceeding through
security until I had paid for the bag - an additional £126 return. The irony was apparent as we waited to board the
plane as there were several people who had much larger holdalls than my bag. The flight wasn't even full. On the
return Flybe flight from Malaga the size of bag was not questioned and allowed on the plane. Never will we use
Flybe again - their UK ground staff are dreadful, rude and overly officious.

Polite staff, pleasant atmosphere, very helpful. I use flybe regularly and they are mostly on time. Food is good if
a bit expensive, but I wish the costs were a bit lower. The people who let them down are the Servisair staff on
check in and in departure lounges at Southampton - sloppy, scruffy, and bad tempered and often don't know their
jobs! They don't match up to Flybe or ground staff at Rennes.

Exeter to Manchester on a day return as I thought it would be quicker than the train - big mistake. Both sectors
were delayed - coming back from Manchester the delay was horrendous. Next time I will take the train. It is a
shame, as I used to use Flybe a lot because I live close to Exeter Airport but lately they have become so expensive
and unreliable that I will look for alternatives.

Manchester to Glasgow for day work trips twice in a month was a repeating horror. On the first trip, there was a
slight delay out there and on the second one, a two hour delay. On both day trips, the last GLA-MAN flight of the
day was cancelled, with FlyBe putting the Manchester passengers on a flight to Birmingham with a bus trip back up
the M6 on a Friday evening. It was clearly not an unusual occurrence. On both departure days, there seemed to be
lots of FlyBe flights with serious delays or cancellations. I believe that their Dash 8 fleet is notorious for tech
delays, but there are also lots of rumours that flights often get cancelled when there's a small number of
passengers. That fits my experience. I will only ever fly with them in future if there are no possible other
choices (other carriers, trains, car). I had a bad experience the first time, gave a second chance and will not
give them a third chance.

Exeter to Guernsey via Jersey on the afternoon flight, check-in no problem (suitcase 16.6 kg - within the 20 kg.
paid for) and take-off okay, but then stuck on runway at Jersey for two hours "Fog at Guernsey" though Aurigny
flights apparently landed. So back to Exeter and placed on the early morning flight. Now the same suitcase -
still 16.6 kg. - was mysteriously overweight and £20 demanded. Despite my protests that I had paid for 20 kg, I
was told the max was 15kg, so transferred a few items to our hand luggage. Checking my ticket details for the
return the 20kg was clearly shown and there was no query on check-in. Just another effort to screw money from a
couple of OAPs?

EXE-AMS. Slight delay out of Exeter but otherwise a good flight. I was pleased web-booking details and pre-paid
aspects related to seat selection and luggage payments were honoured. A quick flight of just over one hour to
Amsterdam was certainly worth the low overall cost for this flight. Good information from flight crew. Only
annoying aspect was the loud pop-music on boarding. I was a little apprehensive about making this choice but was
pleasantly surprised.

Aberdeen-Birmingham. Flight 3 hrs late due numerous technical problems. No pre-departure advice or warnings at
Aberdeen. Hold luggage lost on arrival Birmingham at midnight and all staff had gone home - unable to contact
anyone until after weekend - luggage arrived 10pm Monday. Airline is okay when everything is running smoothly,
but fail to have adequate information and resources available when they do not.

Unfortunately I have to use Flybe between Southampton and Nice as there is no other local competitor when living
in the Bournemouth area. I have been charged excess baggage fees for cabin luggage as Flybe permit smaller
bags than any other airline - be warned 50cm x 35cm x 23cm. Don't make that mistake now but still on every
flight I see inconsistencies where other passengers are clearly getting away with larger bags. I no longer pay for
extra legroom seats because on no less than 3 occasions, they have been allocated to someone else despite me
having booked and paid extra. Worst of all is punctuality and lying about it, I use them for this route approx. 6
times every year and I now expect delays every time. 75% of all my flights with Flybe are delayed. I really wish I
had an option to fly with another airline.

Had to pay an extra £67 for a small piece of hand luggage which did not fit in the required Flybe hand luggage
measure by 2 or 3 cm, the flights to and from Dublin were late and when I asked for some water onboard I was
refused. Considering the flight cost me £250 I would say zero value, stressful and a humiliating experience.

Exeter to Alicante return. Easy check-in at Exeter, helpful staff, left on time, clean aircraft, pleasant cabin crew and
exactly the same on the return from Alicante. I've flown with all the budget airlines in the UK and I am a regular
flyer with Flybe and have not yet had a bad experience with them. They compare very favourably with their rivals.
Their website is pretty easy to use. Not sure why others previously have had problems.

Manchester to Belfast City one way. Boarded slightly late but a good on time departure plane was a nice dash 8
400 that was lightly loaded. The flight was fine in terms of comfort but the cabin crew were awful, the most
unfriendly crew I have experienced and I fly often. They never smiled or spoke and the only time they came
through the cabin was a rushed drink service.

Flew from Southampton to Edinburgh and return for the weekend. Despite having pre-paid for a suitcase for one
of us, the lady at check-in at Southampton seemed to find the paperwork confusing and questioned whether we
had in fact paid for a case. I eventually managed to persuade her we had. I think she was a new recruit and the
lady next to her seemed incapable of offering help, despite there being very little queue behind us. After that, both
flights were fine although the return was late. With Flybe it's the usual low cost offering, over-rehearsed, insincere
announcements, heavily overpriced food and tickets which simply aren't cheap anymore. They usually thank you
for choosing to fly with Flybe but the reality for most travellers from Southampton Airport is they don't have a
choice anymore.

Southampton-La Rochelle return in May and Southampton-Brussels return in September. All four flights departed
and arrived on time with friendly and attentive crews. We only had hand luggage on all flights, it was not weighed
or measured at all - none of the flights were full. The prices were not rock bottom, but I feel they were fair and
certainly the Brussels flights were considerably cheaper than I have paid from other UK airports to the same
destination. I understand other reviewers' complaints about the website, it is structured in a way that makes it
look as if you must pay for things (eg reserving a seat) that you do not have to do. However, my experiences
have been positive.

Birmingham-Glasgow-Barra return. All flights were on time with boarding 15 mins before departure. Flights to and
from Glasgow were on a Dash 8 Q400, quiet and comfortable. Flight to Barra on Twin Otter, enjoyable but noisy
and small. I had 1.5 hrs to connect in Glasgow and this was plenty of time. Checked in bags cost extra but not
really bothered and hand luggage was allowed on the Twin Otter but it must be able to fit under the seat in front.

Edinburgh to Birmingham. Flight was on an Embraer, with adequate leg-room but decidedly narrow seating even
for a guy of average build. Flight on time and generally comfortable, cabin crew pleasant. Fare was acceptable but
it's very annoying to find so many extra charges. Nice smooth touchdown at BHX.
