Despite the long distances to get anywhere, the terminal isn't very spacious. HUGE numbers of electric carts
(carrying less-mobile passengers, or pushing trolleys, or often just empty) tear around the terminal, making a lot of
noise and, because of the limited space, constantly getting in people's way and risking accidents. And, like many
other airports, the poorly-planned secondary gate security leads to long queues blocking the terminal passageways and
making the electric cart issue even worse. Wifi doesn't reach all gates and forex services have very bad rates. On
the plus side, staff in every position are excellent.

Facilities are sufficient and services are mostly available when you need them. Immigration check is efficient.
Food choices are relatively limited inside the checked area. Transport to/from airport is quick and easy.
However, night buses are not available after MRT closes and it forces travellers to use taxi after mid-night
which is not ideal. I do not like the low ceiling inside the checked area (except T3) and do not like to be kept
in a checked area at the boarding gate.

Very good airport. Big, spacious, clean and absolutely no hassle within the airport at all. No problems
encountered. Will definitely visit this airport again if SIA restart their services to Pakistan.

Changi has always excelled and setting the bench mark for how to run an airport. They have courteous staff
that can speak different languages. Changi Airport is like a small city with everything that you want, its clean
and efficient and would put a lot of western airports to shame. They provide free Wifi and entertainment
for all ages. Food is reasonable with choice and price.

As a Malaysian living barely 10 minutes across the border from Singapore, Changi is understandably our
preferred airport rather than Kuala Lumpur which is 300 km away. Easy access to the airport, great service,
excellent shops and wide range of restaurants, pleasant and efficient staff. Departure and arrival is a breeze
and we always feel at home here.

Check-in took a long time and staff were quite unprofessional and could barely speak English. The facilities
are quite good. Shops prices are fair. Resting areas are all over the airport. In all a good experience.

I never fail to be amazed at the standard of every provision at this airport. It really must be one of the best
world-wide. The airport seems to breathe efficiency in a relaxed manner with smiling and helpful staff
everywhere. Due to a problem with my connecting flight to Melbourne, albeit through no fault of the airline,
the airport staff did everything possible to ensure my onward journey could be completed with the minimum
of delay.

We were checking in as a tour group, but a Mainland Chinese tour group also was checking in at the same
time. They tried to cut us off from the check in to let their group check in first. Check in staff made no effort
to form one single file line and only when the airport manager came to restore order did our tour group get to
check in. Considering that our flight was earlier than the latter group, I consider this to be poor effort from
staff of a supposed '5 star airport'.

I'm not sure what I can say here that hasn't already been said before? This airport is one of the best I've
travelled through. Arrivals are straightforward and there was no line at immigration (and unlike other airports
they had lots of staff at the immigration desks). Customs was also pretty straightforward and in no time at
all we were through and on our way into Singapore CBD. Departures were again very, very efficient with fast
check in and immigration. Terminal 3 was very clean and modern with lots of duty free shops and we also
visited Terminal 2 (looking a bit dated) to see the M&Ms Concept Store. Although we made a bee line for the
lounge once we'd made our duty free purchases, I could see there was a lot for people to do in the airport
with cinemas, gardens, shops and eateries.

Without doubt, the best Airport I have had travelled through. Staff are helpful and polite, and nothing is too
much trouble. Facilities for passengers are second to none, ranging from free wi-fi through to the rooftop
swimming pool! Cinemas, Lounges, Transit Hotels, Gardens, Restaurants, Bars, Shops, this place has
everything. If you happen to have the good fortune to be transiting through Singapore, try and arrange your
flights to allow at least 3 hours in the airport, particularly terminal 3, which is huge.

of shops and restaurants). It's huge, so you can always find some space to yourself.

SIN is a clean, well laid-out design and easy to find your way around. The spaces have ample natural light,
gardens, along with affordable shops and activities while waiting. Changi is not a world-beating architectural
masterpiece, but it is a nice place to spend time. It provides a warm and inviting ambience that many more
elaborate terminal designs (like Kansai and Hong Kong) fail to offer with their expansive hard surfaces and
artificial materials. Now that the shabby budget terminal has been closed, even LCC users can enjoy the fine
facilities. Unlike major Australian airports, Changi has not suffered from over-capacity since the arrival of
A380 services in the past few years either. Like many other things in Singapore (its safe streets, public
transport system and cleanliness), many other cities could learn a lesson or few from this airport and its
management.

Changi is really a great airport. Comfortable and easy to navigate with little hassle. Plenty to do and see
while filling in the time, with reasonably priced food and beverages too. Going from one terminal to another
is not a hassle, although it does seem the shopping is simply repeated from one to the other, except for the
Butterfly Garden and other such attractions, there is not much point in visiting the other terminals as every
terminal is pretty much self-sufficient. Only distraction was poor wifi reception once I was beyond security in
my gate lounge, F34. Also no visible toilets were found once in the lounge.

Arrived from Sydney looking forward to stepping into my favourite airport of them all. Unlike most previous
stopovers in Singapore we were in an unfamiliar terminal, and so we were unable to as easily navigate the
building. However, as it was only a short stopover this wasn't a bother to us. A family member of mine
required extra assistance at the airport due to travelling on crutches, and as always they were extremely
polite and immediately offered up any services, and also answered questions without hesitation. The airport
was spotless, and the facilities unmatched. It was unfortunate that there wasn't enough time to enjoy all
that was on offer.

It is a very efficient airport. Very beautiful design, and there are plenty of facilities available. Just one thing
to complain about - it's the security check. They are located at the gates-passengers will walk pass them
right before boarding. This is not a good system because it forbids passengers to buy beverages in the
restricted area on board the plane. It's inconvenient.

On my most recent trip to Changi I flew SIA, MEL-SIN-HKG-SIN-MEL (388-388-77W-388), spending the night
at the airport on the first leg as I waited to meet up with a friend. Everything about this airport is perfect.
Facilities are clean, user-friendly, with decent signage everywhere, an easy to find sleeping lounge located
near a cheap 24-hour food and beverage outlet. Add to this 24-hour movie cinema, plenty of viewing areas
for aviation nuts, and for just S$8 you can use the hotel shower facilities with amenities included! Transiting
between terminals is a breeze with the automated skytrain. The only thing I would ask they improve is the
air conditioning, with parts of the airport perhaps just a little warmer than ideal. Overall the best airport
experience you can have.

Arrived 1900 from Sydney, no holdups through immigration and customs, onto MRT and into town. Departed
1635 for Siem Reap a few days later, MRT to airport and straight through without delay. Arrived 1545 10 days
later, again straight through without delay, taxi to Changi Village. Departed for Sydney 0210 2 days later,
shuttle bus to airport and no delays. Some toilets in the terminal looked as if they hadn't been cleaned for
some time, but still better than some.

This was my first time at Singapore Changi Airport and this is truly a 5 star experience. People speak English
well with a large number of other languages to help you from Korean to French and Russian. Food and
shopping is available at reasonable prices. The airport is clean and if you are in transit and stay at one of
the hotels, there are multi-floored malls underneath the terminals which have everything from restaurants,
bookstores, fast food and convenience stores as well. At the airport I had an asthma attack at 5am and
there was a doctor there who treated me and even drove me back to the gate so I could board my plane in
time for the 6am departure to Narita. Changi really sets the standard.

Missed connecting flight due to 1. change of departure time, pushed back 30min. 2. flight delayed by 45min.
Stuck in transfer area for a couple of hours to arrange another flight. Need more flat couches to lie down.
There is a sleeping lounge but too far away. When we got our flights, we went to the transit hotel for a nap
plus shower.

I fly via Singapore from London to KL at least once a year, if not twice. I choose to fly SIA because they
provide a great service, and that goes for the airport as well. The airport is spacious, organised, clean and
clearly signposted. There always seem to be sufficient staff around who you can approach who will help you
should you need any assistance. The interior design of the airport is excellent, most importantly the toilets
are immaculate. All airports need to be more like this, it takes the stress out of flying.

Luckily the Budget Terminal is closing soon! Chaotic and horrible experience checking in for an early morning
Tiger Airways flight. Long lines due to common check-in counters for several flights departing around the
same time. This system did not work as a separate counter had to be opened for my flight so that
passengers could make the departure time. However, no announcement of this was made. After checking-in,
there was again a long line (people were queuing almost until they were outside the terminal) to proceed to
security checks. This was strange as the security checks themselves were quick.

We did a stopover in Singapore on the way to KL and then a transit on the way back. On the way into
Singapore the immigration queue was quite slow and a few people were pulled aside at the immigration
counter. There are individual queues to the various counters and maybe, they should adopt the one queue
system that feeds into the various counters when you get to the front as in other airports. Bags were in the
luggage reclaim area very promptly and out we went into Singapore. Hats off to Changi on our return journey!
We were on a transit in Changi from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland and due to some snag with our booking, the
airline could not check our bags through to Auckland. In Changi we were made to go through immigration, get
our bags, go through customs, then check in again on the landside, go through immigration again! Luckily it
was Changi because from the time when we got off the plane to the time we were back in the departure
lounge again took us under 40mins. On top of that, the terminal was pleasant and facilities were clean.

I stopped over here on my way to Australia and was extremely impressed by the airport. It was a real shame
that my inbound flight was delayed so long and I was only able to spend 30 minutes here! The terminal was
bright, clean and welcoming and staff were very efficient and friendly - I have never heard a security officer
say to me 'Have a good flight'! I even thought that some of the staff I've met in the UK should be trained
over here! If I had to make one negative remark, it would be about the toilets in the transit lounge which,
while spotlessly clean are far too small for the number of passengers that will want to use them after a long
haul flight, to brush their teeth etc, and so will become very crowded as a result. Otherwise, absolutely
fantastic airport!

Arrived at T1 via JAL and our luggage strap was missing when we picked up our bags. Staff was friendly and helpful,
and offered a free replacement immediately. Left at T1 via Cathay. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful, and checked
our bags through final destination. Note that immigration is the first check point, which runs pretty smoothly, and
you can bring your bottle of water through immigration, since security is not until you get to your gate before
your flight (which is nice, in my opinion), but this also means you need to plan extra time at the gate for
security checks. We tried to get connected to the free wifi but it asked for local phone number or registration at
the information counter (which was quite a hassle compared to Hong Kong or Japan where we transit); but as other
reviewers have mentioned, there are several free internet stations in the terminal that you could use, just not so
convenient if you just want to use your smartphone to get connected for a few minutes. Very clean airport, with
lots of shops open for last minute shopping, and sales staff very knowledgeable about advising us that liquid
(perfumes, etc) are not permissible for flights to the US if not checked-in.

Used T2 the last few times when flying to SIN. Overall it is still a very good terminal and is customer
friendly, efficient and offers quite a lot of activities. The SQ lounge is also nice with many facilities. However
sometimes the queues at immigration can be a bit long and annoying. It really depends what time you arrive.
This however is probably the only minor thing which can be improved. For WiFI you need to get a password
from the information counter and then you have pretty good access throughout the terminal.

Terminal 2 is currently undergoing substantial construction work which is unpleasant in overall passenger

Transferred recently on way from LHR-BKK-LHR. As per other comments this is excellent for transit - plenty of
free things to do to keep you interested for a couple of hours, and the budget rooms at the transit hotel are
excellent value for the price charged. Two minor gripes - the wifi did not work with the passwords provided
(but there was plenty of free internet terminals), the price of food and drink in the bars is very excessive by
western standards. however, there is a good priced food court and 7-11 in T2 which compensates for the
latter.

I used the main 3 terminals of Changi airport. Recently, I got to fly out of it's Budget terminal. It offers all
the basic: a simple airport layout, ordinary facilities, limited food and retail shops, and no aerobridges. The
terminal is clean and overall experience was ok. For now, the current budget terminal at Changi is still better
than some of the major airports in the world.

facilities. Changi is a great experience and always hassle free.

Used all 3 and the low cost terminal. Each terminal has its own experience. Terminal 3 is one of the world's
best. Terminal 2 is not as nice, and Terminal 1 is older, and not as good experience. The budget terminal
has good selection of food and other outlets, but the waiting areas to the plane are not air conditioned and
can get warm.

2.5 hour stopovers at Changi both ways on LHR-SIN-AKL-MEL-SIN-LHR flights. Changi Airport must rank as
one of the best in the world - for a female travelling alone it is easy to navigate and provides all the
information one requires for a seamless and worry-free transfer. Staff everywhere to provide information
should you need it, and they make a point of asking if you need help. Terminals immaculate; efficient
transfers between terminals. Range of facilities for passengers, all spotless and designed to make layovers
between flights as pleasant as possible.

Transmitted many times through Changi, it is without doubt the best in the world. Transit hotels offer luxury
for minimal prices, shops and food offer quality and variety - and the butterfly sanctuary is a fun and unusual
distraction. There is even a free cinema. I left my iPhone at the Apple shop to recharge as it was a
particularly busy evening and all the free recharging facilities were being used. Airport staff are cheerful,
helpful and efficient.

I am having a terrible time at Changi! I am stuck sleeping in the airport overnight due to an early morning
transit and have been forced to sleep in the arrival terminal. Contrary to what the posh departure terminals
seem to convey, the arrival terminal is cold and unfriendly. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Furthermore, I
would expect a hotspot international airport to provide some sort of overnight accommodation other than an
overpriced hotel. The airport has been designed so that absolutely no outlets are available for charging
electronic devices. Believe it or not, the departure terminal is only available to passengers a mere two hours
prior to the departure time. So while travelers such as myself are forced to sleep on cold, hard chairs in a
wide-open area, a safer, more comfortable lounge area lies right behind security in the departure terminal.

Transit at Singapore Changi from SYD to SGN (terminal 2) and PEK to SYD (terminal 3). The new terminal 3
looks good but the whole airport feels tired along with staff. Still a great airport for transit, but it's lost
something. The big issue are security checks at the gate, staff are unfriendly and inefficient and it takes a
long time to go through everything. Shops, restaurants and cafes are still plenty, free internet and wifi is
great and price of duty free products are still competitive.

I had a 5 hour transit in terminal 2. Easy to find your way around with a good variety of shops and places to
eat. The airport is clean with many different entertainment options such as TV lounges, gaming zones and
free internet services. I was particularly impressed with the fern and orchid gardens that brought a tropical
feel to the airport.
