"Very unorganised airport"
J Spencer (United Kingdom)
Not Verified | Very unorganised airport. A lot of flights were delayed and they change gates without notifying anyone so you have to keep checking the screen. Flight attendants were also rude and unhelpful they just shout stuff at people and the boarding process was worst I’ve experienced. Only positive is the food to be honest.

"immigration done through one officer"
1 reviews Alexander Weberbauer (Germany)
❎ Not Verified | Cochabamba Airport is a rather small International Airport in Bolivia, which only serves national routes regarding departures. There are international and even intercontinental (Madrid) arrivals, though. I came from Sao Paulo Guarulhos with a nonstop flight with BoA. And returned to Sao Paulo with a layover in Santa Cruz, as there are no nonstop connections leaving CBB. The International Arrival Area is quite small, immigration is done through only one officer. A positive thing is that the airport has air-bridges, which are used mainly for the international arrivals and domestic departures. Domestic arrivals normally get off the plane on the tarmac, where the people have to walk to the terminal, because no busses are used. Regarding Departures, the Check-in Area is quite small, as the airport is only being served by 4 Airlines, of which two are state-owned. The departures take place from the second floor, where there is also a small shop at the gates selling snacks and beverages. There is no duty free shop, which I find quite bad. Also an important thing to note is that there is no Lounge for frequent travelers.

"food court has plenty of choices"
2 reviews C Waters (Bolivia)
✅ Verified Review | Cochabamba is a very small international airport, some flights of Boliviano de Aviacion arrive from Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and seaonsally to Madrid. It has enough space for the flights and people who use this terminal. One of the most interesting things about this airport is its food court has plenty of choices and types of food, and best of all if you are traveling on low budget there is a public transport service that will take you straight to town, for almost nothing 0.50 cents. If traveling for tourism or business there is no other choice to get to the center of Bolivia. Wifi runs great and its totally free.

Cochabamba Airport customer review
K Beard (United Kingdom)
This airport serves both international flights to Brazil and domestic flights with Bolivia with Aerosur. The airport has average facilities for departure however it is with arrival that the weaknesses of this airport shine forth. One small baggage area with an exit for domestic travellers no customs check required and one exit for international travellers with a through customs check result in chaos. The lack of baggage carts and hundreds of people struggling with several large suitcases each all struggling towards the one international exit result in a rugby scrum. When I arrived the one customs agent controlling the gate was also checking the other domestic arrivals gate. I only escaped after throwing my luggage out of the surging crowd and then dragging it back to the luggage area and eventually out. What should have taken 10 minutes took one hour.
