"not air conditioned"
1 reviews Van Hiep Hoang (Germany)
✅ Trip Verified | It deserves the rate of passengers through this airport. It was not air conditioned and I was stopped 7 times and was asked if I can give a donation: 1. health officer, 2. Immigration officer 2 x, 3. custom officers 2 x, 4 officer after security check 3 x, 5. Security body search before boarding. The custom officer ask whether I had cash then and I had to open suitcase as she found some cash you have to donate it or you can wait long before you can go.

"departure is a mess"
Pedro Mello (France)
✅ Verified Review | Among the 120 airport I've been in my life Port Harcourt is the worst by far. Arrival is not in a building but in a tent. Departure is a mess (like all other airports in Nigeria). I feel like I'm in an airport of 60s. Electrity shorcuts. No flight information display (like others in Nigeria). Impolite employees. Security processing poor. Never took a flight on time there.

Avoid departing from here if you can possibly avoid it unless you want your passport checked ten times your bag emptied three times your body scanned three times and be forced to declare your currency even if it is within the legal limits. All this is accompanied by the intimidating and constant query of: 'You have something for me ?'. Utterly and shamelessly corrupt.
