Not Verified | The most unorganized airport I've ever seen. At first, all passengers waited for an hour in line in front of the passport control, as the airport service was changing shifts. A bunch of employees just stood around, grinned, talked to each other and often went to smoke. Then we sat on the plane for the next hour, as the airport didn't give permission for departure, because they wanted to put 4 passengers from another flight to whom migration service didn't give permission to enter the country.

✅ Trip Verified | Modern terminal with efficient security. However there are not enough check-in desks during busy times, they don't accept digital boarding passes, food and drink is relatively overpriced, WiFi keeps kicking you off, prices are confusingly in both on GEL and EUR, there is only one small departure board screen in the entire terminal, before security cigarette smoke from people just outside fills the terminal, not enough capacity for people using women's bathrooms.

✅ Trip Verified | This airport is completely mismanaged. I arrived on Saturday morning and there were two Wizz Air flights arriving. There was such a long line for immigration, that people had to wait outside the terminal. Out of 14 desks for immigration, only 7 were in service. The whole process was very slow and inefficient. Unfortunately, I have to use this airport frequently and I cannot see any improvements or even any attempt to improve the matters.

✅ Trip Verified | Terrible experience. A very long queue at check in desk. Completely chaotic. No priority for priority passengers. Than follows security check with even slower queue. They operate only two lines, and this is despite an overwhelming number of security staff. The whole process is not managed, complete mess. No business lounge. Crazy price charged for any snack. Toilets are dirty. Duty free is charging for wine the same prices like in the normal shops, but in EUR rather than in GEL. The cars are parking everywhere alongside the main road, because the airport parking is insufficient to the demand.I am using Kutaisi airport for many years. Never every service was good, but I feel rather than improving they are deteriorating.

✅ Trip Verified | Modern building but huge waiting lines to practically anything, just one plane arriving and you wait for over an hour at passport control, when you try to leave they let you stand in line to print your boarding pass again on the airport paper even though it has the same information as that one you just printed. Even if it’s some weird regulation they could provide kiosks or something instead of letting you wait in line with hundreds of other people - or at least a sign "please first go here before security check".

✅ Trip Verified | The worst airport I’ve been in last 20 years. It is visually nice but the organization is pathetic. Expect 1.5h waiting times at security/registration points. You can’t use electronic boarding passes.

✅ Trip Verified | First and most important there is a smoking area airside and put the front so you can check in early. The check in process was standard speed, staff were friendly, security ran smoothly. I could see how busier days would be a bit longer but It's a small airport, as with most airports there is limited comfortable seating before check in but there is a lounge area upstairs so when it's not busy it's enough. Out the back there is a decent amount of room to lay down but if you had time you could always go to a hostel for about 50 gel including travel both ways then come back. You could pull off a sleep comfortably here if you really had to but it's not singapore. It's a modern small terminal with good facilities, if you're going to be a tight ass and sleep 6 hours in the airport then can't complain.

✅ Trip Verified | Disappointing. First, they do not accept mobile or even printed boarding cards so you end up in a long (and unnecessary) queue. They do not distinguish between priority and regular check-in. Next and even longer queue is security. First, they check passport. Security check opens late, so once they open and start, people are already queuing there. They feature two security lines, which would be perhaps OK providing the process would managed professionally. Unfortunately, it is not the case. Number of security staff is real impressive and so the slowness of the process. Looks like the more people the less efficient. Duty free and other shops are crazy overpriced, a real rip off. This airport is a disaster and its performance contrasts with Tbilisi or Batumi, where everything perfectly OK.

✅ Trip Verified | Terribly disorganized and unfriendly airport. First, a long queue at check in. There is a Priority desk, but they take anyone, so as a result no Priority. Than you are queuing yet again for a security, because security is opening their lines with a long delay after check in starts. Security staff seem to be very relaxed, they simply do not care. You see them coming in and out with a cup of coffee rather than doing their job. Unfortunately, I see this picture at Kutaisi Airport again and again. There were altogether 12 security staff for two security lines. Their supervisor was drinking tea and watching all this mess. The operation of the airport is mismanaged. Despite well known hospitality in Georgia, there are very limited options as to refreshment is concerned, both before the check in as well as after the passport check. Everything is hugely overpriced. Terrible experience.

✅ Trip Verified | Very inefficient and very unfriendly airport. Despite a low passenger numbers, there are queues everywhere. They do not accept online check in, so you need to print out the boarding card (which is in this case not boarding card) and get queuing. Number of security persons is overwhelming, but despite that, they feature just one line, which creates an extra queue. There is a lack of chairs, lack of power sockets, lack of food options and consequently everything is largely overpriced and quality is poor. A cup of coffee costs more than in Hilton Batumi. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
