Ibiza Airport

✅ Trip Verified | The staff in this airport shout at people, get so angry, herding people around like animals. People were doing nothing wrong and getting shouted at in queues. People started reacting as there was no need for this treatment. They appear to hate tourists. I asked a member of staff from Ryanair who was walking by for some guidance on an issue and was shouted at. Never visiting Ibiza again as I do not want to endure such horrific treatment again.

✅ Trip Verified | The airport is a bit small for the amount of passengers it handles, that’s my impression. Boarding was through buses and we were travelling with a stroller and two infants and there wasn’t any other way to access the busses apart from stairs. It was actually difficult to carry strollers downstairs.

Not Verified | Shocking level of customer service during our departure on 03/06/2018. I have never seen an airport with so few staff around. The security check in process was shambolic. A dreadful experience.

✅ Verified Review | Love my little home airport, Ibiza, which I fly through a few times a month. Very much the definition of a "seasonal airport." During the summer, it feels like a large European hub, albeit full of tourists and not business travellers, with flights every 5 minutes at all hours of the day. However, in the winter it becomes this sleepy island airport, with no more than 15 flights a day, almost all domestic, with only 5 or so of the 50 check in counters open. The majority of the terminal airside is closed during the winter too. The terminal has undergone a few upgrades over the last few years. It finally got unlimited, free Wifi throughout the whole terminal. A pretty decent premium lounge opened last year, as well as a number of new cafes, with a surprising number of healthier eating options. There was a strike earlier in the year from the cleaners, but that appears to be sorted out. During only the peak summer season of July and August, check in queues can be quite long, however, the airport seems to manage to keep security times down to a minimum, despite the large amount of "unseasoned travellers."

Made our annual visit to Ibiza in September. Some changes some good some bad. The good now a silent airport no plane announcement but the gates are now available on line 24hrs before and put on the boards 1 hour before departure verbal announcements happen if this changes. Plenty of seating in the departure areas and all together a pleasant airport to sit and wait for departure. The bad most arrivals are bussed to the terminal last year and previous it was a 75 yard straight to passport control now they have put in walkways and it is now about 600 yards to walk up and down for old people us not good especially when easy to adjust the straps and cut down the walking distance when little arrival traffic. Getting out similar this year now 3 funnels for customs which feed into each other creating one big bottle neck with those who are leaving it to the last minute trying to push through to the front have made what worked into a disaster. Took us an hour to get through customs and we were nearly the last plane leaving at this time.
