✅ Trip Verified | This is the first review on airlinequality.com for College Station's Easterwood Airport. Frankly, I had seen a host of negative reviews on Google, and was skeptical about flying out of CLL. I am elated to report that my concerns couldn't have been any more wrong. First, the parking is ridiculously easy, immediately in front of the terminal. Parking for the first two hours is free, and daily parking is something like $7. Second, it's very easy to get to from Texas A&M (the airport is on university property) or anywhere else in College Station and Bryan, but it feels like you're legitimately out in the country. Third, every single personnel I met, from airline check-in agents (who double up as gate agents since the airport is so small!) to TSA/security to the cashier in the one little snack shop post-security, were quite friendly and professional. TSA Pre-Check also works like a charm there. Fourth, I was impressed that I was able to check my bag in with ease from CLL to southern Asia. Fifth, the terminal has obviously been recently renovated, so it's very modern and clean, and yet it feels oddly spacious for such a small terminal (probably the smallest actual one I've ever been in). As a side note, the airport is so small that to walk from the lower level (where ground-level parking is) to upper level (for check-in, security and departures), one must either walk up stairs or take an elevator. That's right, there's no moving sidewalk or escalator there! This is such a nice alternative from larger, busier airports such as Houston Bush (which typically has good customer service, but is smelly and beyond outdated), and Houston Hobby and Austin (both of which are very modern and clean, but have generally poor customer service).
