"Onehealth pass check is taking an eternity"
N Marzan (Philippines)
Not Verified | International Airport only in name not in service. Departure, toilets, restaurants and other facilities are almost virtually non-existent. Arrival Onehealth pass check is taking an eternity to be verified because of spotty internet connection. They should improve the internet - not for passengers but for their services. The people working at the luggage conveyor are not doing their job properly. Took us 1hr and 45 minutes to wait for our luggage because the workers are having a breaktime. The luggage should have been loaded by the time we arrive at the conveyor because from clearing onehealth pass to immigration - it took us almost 2hours!

"Simply horrendous"
C Darinez (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | Terminal 2 is a smart design but very poorly built. Simply horrendous. The old airport terminal had a 5/10 rating. The new terminal 2 which now handles all arrivals and departures is probably the worst airport I've have travelled to. Firstly when you arrive in the carpark there are no trolleys for your baggage. It would be impossible for wheelchair users due to the steep ramps/curbs. The escalators are not working yet, but up you crawl to departures. There is no signage anywhere and the departure info boards are not functioning. The new x ray machines were not working with them pinging away without any one even being close to them! Long queues for security. The whole place, every seat is covered in builders dust and dirt. There are no lounges open at all and there is only one small kiosk that serves coke, coke, coke or coke. No Airport shops, no Smoking areas, no working wifi, no snack bars or resturant.

"it is very shabby"
Grace Tan (Philippines)
Not Verified | This is an International airport but it is very shabby. It lacks many necessary airport facilites such as power outlets, drinking fountains and restrooms. A terminal fee of 600 pesos needs to be paid but the restrooms facilities were either dirty or broken. Hopefully if they charge that much of a fee per person, improvements can be seen to make people's airport experiences better. Really disappointed.

"a lousy airport experience"
Liam Moulton (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | This airport is very poor. The immigration queues were far too long on arrival and not all desks were staffed. The only good reason to fly here is its proximity to downtown Angeles, which is literally a 10 to 20 minute taxi ride away, depending on traffic. On the way back I caught an early flight at 6.55am and other flights were leaving soon after, yet there was nothing open inside the terminal. This is disgraceful for an international airport meaning passengers have to wait until they take off to eat or drink anything. Also attempting to get into the terminal is annoying with staff needing to go through a security checkpoint just to reach the check-in desks yet there are not enough desks or staff hence the queues are long. To conclude, a lousy airport experience, passengers are charged a departures tax upon leaving Clark. Where does this tax go? Obviously not into improving and developing the airport. Overall this is a cheap and nasty airport, which is an embarrassment to the Philippines.

"a complete nightmare"
J Busch (Macau)
✅ Trip Verified | This must be one of the worst airports in all of Asia. Endless queues and waiting required for everything. From the airport entrance security and baggage X ray queue to the check in queue, then it goes to the terminal fee queue (why cant the 600 Pesos be included in the tickets?), then the immigration queue, followed by the security check queue. Then the boarding passes and passports are checked again before passengers are herded like cattle to the departure hall. Philippine travelers also have to pay a travel tax of PhP1,600 before being permitted to check in. That's another 15 minutes wasted. The entire process takes a good one hour, if you are lucky. It also extremely inconvenient and nerve wracking to do this, more so when traveling with children and infants. The airport is not clean, toilets are dirty and staff do not smile, except the immigration who were very friendly. There are no branded shops or restaurants available and no priority queues for premium passengers. Staff at the sales booths appear lethargic. One size fits all - welcome to the airport from hell! Clearly this airport was not designed with any kind of customer experience in mind, rather with a process driven approach which is a complete nightmare. Clark airport has a long way to go before it can provide passengers with a departure experience from the Philippines which is worthy of an established international standard.

"accommodating for passengers"
K Gavino (Philippines)
✅ Trip Verified | Clark Airport is well secured and accommodating for passengers and there are plenty of seats provided in the pre-departure terminal. There are also small food stalls for the passengers who can fill their tummy while waiting their flight to depart.

"has the potential to be good"
D Johnson (United Kingdom)
✅ Verified Review | A good alternative to Manila International airport. Used this airport several times now. Both domestic and international. International flights is very good and fast. It is not spacious enough, this airport has the potential to be good if upgraded. However, domestic the flights I used are delayed but nowhere near Manila domestic. It lacks food options. It is also very basic and hot due to poor air-conditioning. Philippines should make use of this airport as it has the potential to be the best in the northern Philippines.

"clean, comfortable, very convenient"
Robert Anderson (United States)
Clark Airport is now our favorite way into or out of the Philippines. We flew in on Asiana, and 2 weeks later, departed on Emirates. Both arrival and departure were smooth experiences. Immigration, luggage claim, and customs were fast and efficient, and we were meeting our family in just a few minutes. Departing, the security and check-in were fast and efficient, and the staff were professional, efficient, and pleasant. Queues were short, and the gates were all just an escalator ride and a few steps away. The gate area was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Rest rooms were clean and in good condition. Food offerings were quite adequate for a small airport, and reasonably priced (no lie!). WiFi worked fine. Not a lot of shops, but hey, we're flying, not malling. The only concern is that it was difficult to get an adequate cell phone signal at the gate area. Some other passengers were having this problem as well, though I did manage to make my call after a couple of tries. The VIP lounge takes walk-ins for p800 - pretty reasonable. But the main advantage of this airport is location - you don't have to fight Manila traffic like you do going to or from NAIA. If your destination is anywhere north of downtown Manila, this can easily save you the better part of a day! It's not big or glamorous, but who cares? It's clean, comfortable, and very convenient. I'd definitely recommend this airport for any traveller, and especially for families.

"modern airport and very efficient"
4 reviews Pierluigi Sossi (Italy)
Modern airport and very efficient. Upon arrival by taxi one of the porters thoughtfully brought a cart for the luggage. Check-in area wide and modern. No queue at check in, airport security or even for payment of airport charges. Gate area very clean and equipped with a wide selection of dining options. The view of the imposing Mount Pinatubo is something unique.

"toilets are filthy and smell"
Paul Roberts (Philippines)
Clark Philippines Domestic - The Domestic airport (formerly inside the luxurious international terminal) is now an awful tin shed at the side of the airport - it only services a handful of flights to Cebu. One shop selling coffee and no other food (yet Cebu Pacific can be up to 6 hours late when it comes in delayed from Singapore). The toilets are filthy and smell - no cleaners. No Flight Information. The secret is to sit in the Check in zone outside until the last second before entering.
