Agadir Al Massira Airport

✅ Trip Verified | The security checks at this airport in Agadir is over the top. Luggage checked twice and passport control 4 times. Don't they trust each other? One customs officer has to check the work of the other customs officer? And rows and rows of people trying to find the quickest lanes. Completely inefficient process. It took 2 hours to get through to the gate. I have traveled extensively and even India (in lots of chaotic situations) has a much better organisation. I can understand that security is important but this is absurd and a waste of my time.

❎ Unverified | Awful. Nearly 2 hours to get out of Agadir Airport on arriving. Departure took 3 hours. Never have I been to such a disorganized airport. Security had no queue system on arrival or departure. My transport to my hotel waited 2 hours and cost a small fortune because of the wait. I actually needed more than 4 hours on departure. Never again. I usually fly to Marrakesh and travel to Agadir but this time I could not find a bus to connect with the flight so I flew direct. Big mistake - rude staff not helpful at all. Only good thing is the smoking area inside airport. A horrible experience.

As far as looks go this is good. The rest is average and below arriving luggage arrived reasonable quickly then immigration long wait then the form given on flight thoroughly checked. Departure no Morrocan currency allowed flight side payment in about anything accepted and change given in same staff efficient under the circumstances prices high. Information on flight delays non existant room just sufficient for passengers on 757 charter flight Regarding passport/immigration control on departure. If you have a rollerball pen visible be prepared for the officer wanting to swap pens! Despite these negative comments you do feel the staff are trying.
