Although Star Class is advertised as 33" with wide seats I found them to be unbearably uncomfortable on a transatlantic night flight, they are simply way too hard, there seems to be about a centimetre of padding covered with vinyl. BA or Virgin with 31" seat pitch are a definite improvement as the seats are much softer. This may seem petty but after a few hours your rear will keep you awake and uncomfortable if the seat is hard!

8 hour flight with knees in back of seat in front and I'm only 5.10 tall. Lots of complaints as should have been on a 767 with 33 inch legroom. Change of aircraft type to 757 no reason given. never again with first choice.

Very cramped 5hr flight. Had trouble retrieving the bag I had stowed under the seat in front. Even more uncomfortable when the person in front reclined their seat. Lots of people said it was the most cramped flight they had been on. Only 3 toilets and told not to use front toilet unless in the first 10 rows.

Booked extra leg room seat and allocated 31A, next to exit. Unfortunately Exit door has chute bubble on inside, which meant that the leg room was even more restricted than if I had not upgraded. The same would apply to 31F. Complained to First Choice who say that if they are next to an exit they are classed as extra leg toom seats, whether there is extra leg room or not!
