LGW-AGP return. On-time, cabin crew friendly. Legroom a bit tight, but flights only just over
2 hours. Plane a bit tatty and in-flight magazines/safety cards torn and stained. I had to
change my return flight and managed to achieve this within 5 minutes via the Aer Lingus
website, at nominal extra cost, which I found impressive. Overall great value for money and
will use them again.

MCO-DUB Premium economy class. On this route Aer Lingus sells business class seats with
economy service as a sort of premium economy. The seats cost 275Euros each way and are the
new angled lie flat product. The cabin crew were excellent and meal quite nice. A bonus was
that Orlando check-in (manned by United) was open over four hours before the flight which
minimised queues. The downside to Aer Lingus flights is that you are only allowed to charge
200Euro to your credit card which limits what you can buy from the sky shopping catalogue;
this figure also includes drinks or snacks on the inflight menu.

LGW-Faro. Simple check in at the rear area of the terminal, flight was on time and the overall
experience was pretty good. Price paid was reasonable, even with the baggage charges

LGW-Faro-LGW: Liked the separate check-in area in South Terminal Gatwick - no queues.
Comfortable flight, plenty of legroom. On-time. Friendly cabin crew.

JFK-DUB-LHR Business.Check in at JFK was easy with one dedicated desk open for Business and
Gold Circle passengers. Did not make use of the lounge. Boarding was on time and aircraft was
a new looking A330-300. Crew and attentive. IFE was an excellent AVOD system. Seat was angled
flat bed type and very easy to adjust and configure. I do think that non-sloped seats are
better though. Food was good and amenities satisfactory. Overall, a very positive experience.
However, although the JFK-DUB flight left the gate on time it took forever to take off and we
arrived in DUB 1 hr late meaning I missed a 6.40am flight to LHR and had to take 7.30am
flight instead. However, Aer Lingus staff had already made the arrangements and were able to
tell me all about this once I exited the aircraft from JFK. Only downside is my bag did not
make my connecting flight but was delivered to my home later the same day.

LGW-NCE. A quality experience. Checkin is in area 'B' at Gatwick S, 4 counters open and
there were about 5 people in front of me, the entire process from walking in to the terminal
to obtaining my boarding pass taking about 5 minutes. The aircraft was clean and seemed
relatively spacious. Very pleasant Irish crew, a cut above easyJet - and you get a pre-
assigned seat, cutting out the boarding scrum of EZY.

DUB-MCO Economy class. Boarding from Pier D which is quite a walk from the check in area. The
A330-200 appeared new, and had comfy seats. The meal service was a choice of 2 entrees, both
tasty if a little small. Cabin crew helpful and soft drinks available on request. The only
minus was a longish taxi at MCO followed by slow baggage delivery. The key question is whether
a direct DUB-MCO flight is more efficient than flying via JFK. Given the time taken to board
(B pier at Dublin is much closer to check-in), disembark, collect luggage and that a 9 hour
flight can be tedious, I think that there is little to choose between the two options.

DUB-JFK return on new A330-300. The overall experience was excellent with new cabin interiors
and angled lie-flat seat offering good comfort for sleeping & dining. In the angled lie-flat
position, the seats are comfortable for sleeping despite the slope. There is an excellent AVOD
system in Business class with a wide choice - a slight difference in choice available when
travelling eastbound from the US. Cabin staff on both flights outstanding, food excellent with
ample choice available.

JFK-DUB-NAP return. Aer Lingus out to Naples for our honeymoon. JFK-DUB and return on a new
A330. Personal IFE, great movie selection on the return. Power ports between every seat
towards the floor - supported US/UK/Euro plugs. I'm 6'2" and the legroom was adequate, food
was solid. DUB-NAP was a 3 hour flight on an A320. Got there and returned on time, which is
all we needed for that leg of the journey. When we checked in at JFK, we got our boarding
passes for both legs of the journey. On the return, Naples Airport personnel could only give
us the NAP-DUB boarding passes. Because we only had 90 mins we didn't know if we would have to
get our bags, exit the airport, and then check-in again. When we got off the plane though, Aer
Lingus staff let us know that we had to go to the end of the baggage claim area to get our
boarding passes for the JFK flight. Wish that process was smoother.

Gatwick to Faro return. Outbound flight left 25 minutes late because of complications on the
ground, and inbound left 15 minutes late due to late boarding. Flight attendants on both
flights were helpful and friendly, cabin was clean and seats were comfortable.

Horrible customer service - rude and impatient flight attendants both ways from JFK to DUB and
returning from SNN to JFK. Scolded publicly for attempting to use the "premier class" toilet
when a long queue was thwarting my effort to use the other toilet. Was told I could wait in
line with everyone else or wait to go when I reached JFK (5 hours later). Nice touch!

JFK-DUB return. Excellent service both ways. Crew seemed stretched, but friendly and
attentive. Comfortable, modern cabin, with an excellent choice of movies. I have flown Aer
Lingus many times, and despite this challenging time for them, they seem to be getting their
act together.
