	Rating : 10/10 Queuing Cleanliness Facilities Recommended	Departed WLG to SYD . What a fantastic airport. We had no problems checking in, going through immigration or security. The free WIFI was an outstanding bonus. Was able to check in with family via streaming video.

	Rating : 10/10 Queuing Cleanliness Facilities Recommended	Great for small airport, with loads of beanbags to lie on while you wait for your flight - incredibly comfortable and relaxing. This airport has some interesting Lord of the Rings facets, like a massive Gollum in the Departure/Arrival area (Domestic/Intl). Airport is close to CBD (8kms) and there are frequent shuttle buses into the city. Only downsides is the wind which can make landings / take-offs interesting.

	Rating : 8/10 Queuing Cleanliness Facilities Recommended	Small but well organised airport. It is very close to the city (15 on super shuttle). Landed from Sydney, it was quick to go through immigration and customs. Australian and New Zealand citizens have this express line with smart gate card. Luggage arrived very quickly. Takes me less than 30 mins to get out of the airport. Departure was just as organised, not a lot of shops or restaurants at domestic departure, Air New Zealand lounge has more drinks than food. Security check is right before you board. All staff (immigration, custom, airline) are friendly and helpful.

Plenty of signage, little expensive in some food outlets. Kiosks for Air NZ are efficient and the short distance between terminals and departure gates are great! Also, bus service present that takes you right into the heart of Wellington, so very handy.

Great airport, small but everything you need. Domestic travel's a breeze. 30 second checkin and a 2 minute walk to the gate with no security. Like flying in the good old days!

I found the domestic area to be clean and easy to find my way around, food shops were rather expensive. International area duty free shop is excellent with a great selection - however the waiting area is about the same size as the shop. There were 2 flights departing at the same time and hardly a seat to be found.

I have found Wellington Airport to be a modern, well-designed and efficient airport, whether travelling internally or internationally. Passenger processing is quick and efficient and the main concourse is spacious with great views of aircraft activity.

Charming airport, possibly the best in the country, with generally well mannered ground staff at help desk, check-in and security. Well signposted. Excellent views of the planes at the main gates. I found it clean - perhaps this was due to the time of day at which we travelled. Down sides include the international facilities. When flying from SYD on a full flight, our arrival coincided with another aircraft's. Luggage took close to an hour to appear on the carousel. However, luggage takes next to no time if flying in from a domestic flight.

I thought Wellington was a lovely little airport, though I thought it odd that as a UK citizen flying from Melbourne, I was asked to show a return ticket back out of the NZ when I was travelling with my Australian wife who understandably didn't have to prove anything at all... I haven't been asked to prove I have an onward ticket since flying into Nairobi in the 1980s, and I was considerably less neat and tidy back then! But otherwise I'd highly recommend Wellington as an alternative arrival destination for NZ over AKL, especially if flying direct from MEL.

My favourite small airport in the world. I find that I am often through customs and bags waiting on the carousel within 10mins of arrival. The views from the picture windows are great. The main gripe about all NZ airports is that the departure tax has to be paid at the airport. Lining up for a sticker at 4;30am is not pleasant. Cleanliness of the main public concourse could be improved.

Great airport. Many travellers will find WLG is done up, with the times, relaxed, efficient, and so forth. I'm glad to hear that AKL is to undergo renovation soon, it's not before time believe me.

WLG is everything that AKL is not, The best place to arrive if you are travelling to the North Island. Intl flights to SYD and BNE and plenty of domestic connections. A pleasant place to arrive and to spend and hour or two on departure. So much nicer than the chaos that is Auckland airport!
