Pula AIRPORT review : 16 September 2008 : by Robert Bushby

It is not large and mainly used by holiday traffic especially from the UK, Russia and Scandanavia
and definitely has capacity problems coping with the summer surge and not just at check-in as we
found out when our flight back to the UK was delayed. There is just one circulating area cum lounge
in the upper storey with doors leading off to the apron via stairways. Nevertheless the terminal is
fairly clean and I have been stuck in far worse and at least the air-con was working. One bizarre
detail is that proudly displayed in arrivals is a a copy of a local Danse Macarbe freize, not the
most reassuring image of Croatia to greet passengers with and in reality well removed from the
truth.
