Flew with CityJet. A nice open space, with plenty of seating, and very clean. A new building, queues were
almost nothing when I flew. Staff were quite nice, and duty free was limited but nice. Gates were clean and
efficient. Cafe/bar was very expensive. A very nice experience.

New airport and now triple length waiting in arrivals lounge. My question to the airport authorities is, why
has pick up time in arrivals gone from 5-10 minutes in the old airport, to a minimum of 30 minutes in the
new? Is this progress? The free parking lasts only 30 minutes which means having to get back in the car -
do a circular tour around the airport and pick up a new entry ticket.

The airport is newly refurbished and very spacious, almost too spacious like an empty warehouse. The
counter staff are helpful and in general speak English, French and German. A nice, clean, well-organised
airport where crowding is not an issue.

Impressive airport. Arrived on BA from London, down a jetty and out in no time. Check in was
easy (one set of desks handle all flights - such a simple idea), plenty of seating space, back
down the jetty and off. There isn't a great deal of retail space but enough choice for the
size of operation. The only downside is limited public transport links into the city.

An excellent experience in every way arriving. Very fast from aircraft to leaving terminal
(despite bus from aircraft to terminal building), spacious, good environment. Leaving very
different: the check-in machines were completely useless (it wasn't just me) with staff
clearly avoiding that area - one arrived but departed rapidly. Consequently the queue for the
few desks open was almost out of the building. I thought the transport links to the city were
fine and I do not understand the comment about none on a Sunday - there were buses from the
bus station next to Place d'Armes about every 15 minutes costing €1.50 - great value.

The new airport is a joke, when picking up visitors you need to park in the short stay, go
into the airport, take the escalator to the ground floor just to look at the arrivals board.
If there's delay, get back in your car and get back out of the car park before your free 30
minutes parking expires, and then you have to do the whole process again! Why no arrivals
board on the entry floor or even outside in the car park?
I've been picking visitors up for 10 years in Luxembourg, waiting for them has gone from 5-10
minutes to about 30 minutes now - Is this progress?

Though new terminal, still have to bus from plane to terminal. Then 50 minute wait for
baggage to come through - unacceptable in a new facility. Then further 20 minute wait for
packed bus to town centre at draughty bus stop (no shelter). No one in their right minds here
pays Sunday fare of 35 euros for a 10-minute taxi ride. The place is crying out for a mini-
bus style shuttle service, but there is not the remotest sign of this coming. It needs to be
borne in mind that at quite a recent stage the airport took the view that no public transport
was required at all on a Sunday. The airport is delightful Monday to Saturday when it's not
busy (ie most of the time). It copes badly when it is asked to do anything more.

The new terminal has been opened May 21st and is great! Ample drop-off space in front of the
terminal, ample parking in the underground parking, modern and efficient interior, swift check-in
and security and very nice lounge. New layout not always logical but big enough and ample seating
provided. Only criticism maybe that there are not a lot of shops but this isn't an international hub either.

I have used Luxembourg regularly and it is a regular delight. It is small and efficient and often
no more than 15 minutes from touch down to taxi rank. However, it is small, can get overcrowded and
is prone to fog. The new terminal is still not open - it will be a lot bigger than the current
'vintage' Terminal A but will it be as quick? The train link mentioned elsewhere will not be open
until 2013, although the station is under construction now.

This airport is a true delight. I arrived, with only 30 minutes to go before departure. Yet I
breezed through empty security, passport control and into the gate in only 6 minutes. What other
airport in the world, can you do that in? Then the immigration officer greeted me with a smile.
The taxi charge to centre of town will be about EUR30. This is how airports should be, efficient,
organized and with a view in mind to be as hassle-free as possible.

Just flown through Luxembourg. The new terminal is not ready yet (at
least 6 months away I guess) and not much sign of a railway. The
current Terminal A is small and old but quick and efficient. Beer is
still only €2. Luxair is one of the best small lounges I have come
across - plenty of food and drink and very comfortable.

The new terminal B looks like any other modern airport in the EU or
outside the EU. Is very organized and still friendly but with plasmas
all over and brand new. Also, in 2006 the new terminal A will be
completed. It will have a train to connect you to the city within 20
minutes. Soon, Findel will be like a mini-Zurich, very modern state-of-
the-art airport where you could go to any major and EU city stress-free.

I agree that Luxembourg Findel is dull and boring, however it is the only airport I kno where it is
just impossible to get lost in endless gates and piers.
It's very small in size but why would you need all that space if you can check in 20 minutes in
advance for European flights (especially easy is the latenight check-in of your luggage if you are
on an early flight). That is the advantage of Luxembourg!

I fully agree that the place is efficient (mainly because of it's size and staff being
helpful). I
also agree that the whole place has no "glamour" to it at all. It's boring, and facilities are
limited. The same goes for the parking. there are no toilets in the luggage retrieval hall.

Findel doesn't look all to ffesh and young, but where in Europe can you find an airport where
beer cost you EUR 1.50 - where you have a full hot meal with soup and bread included for EUR 9.00
(staff of companies around the airport take their lunches at the airport
restaurant. I don't see
this happen at Heathrow, not with their prices or the quality of their food). If
you get acquainted with the check-in staff they call you on your mobile to check where you are if you are in
late at check-in. How many times have I not been allowed to board 20 minutes before
departure? Findel is the most stress-free airport you can find in Europe. There should be much
more Findels on this planet.

Luxembourg Findel Airport is in desperate need of renovation. The airport doesn't suit the richest
country of the world at all. The terminals are old and lack any sense of design and comfort.
