One of the nicest and cleanest airports I've experienced. Thoughtful touches are everywhere, from the piano in the food court, to bags for wet umbrellas, to a cart of peanuts and pretzels from Delta (identical to what they give out in flight) at the baggage claim. Bathrooms are spotless! And clocks throughout the airport.

Simply put the Little Rock Airport has to be the nicest smaller-sized airport that I have ever used. It is very easy to access from downtown and elsewhere. Everyone who I encountered there was extremely friendly. The TSA folks were all nice and they did their best to move folks through the line as quickly as possible. For an airport its size it has a great variety of restaurants.

Little Rock National Airport (LIT) is one of my favorite mid-size airports. It is on par with the Bob Hope Airport (BUR) and Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in that it is easy to get in and out of the airport complex the location is close to downtown and the presence of low-cost airlines keep overall ticket prices among the lowest in the country.

The facelift is complete! After years of construction everything appears to be complete. LIT is smoke free so smokers must cross security and go to a covered outside area. Several coffee shops and a mini food court were added however while several open early for early bird flights most close long before the last flights arrive. A couple of little news stands and a book store was added but the gift shop is not on the secure side. So if someone one that has a lay over must cross security to shop. Free wireless internet has be added that can be accessed from almost any where between gates 1 & 12. Overall not bad for a small airport.

I have been to many many airports all over the world and Little Rock is one of my favorites. It is small but modern and clean. There are never long lines and the personnel are always helpful and friendly. After being away from home for months I always look forward to the simplicity and comfort of LR airport. I like that baggage claim is after you meet up with the people waiting to get you as well.

As an Arkansas native I have flown in and out of LRN several times. LR National is exceptionally clean and easy to navigate. For an airport with only 12 gates there is plenty to do nice places to eat and even a museum. The airport just underwent a $170 million overhaul which gives it a nice modern flare. It has also recently added a three-level parking garage which is reasonably priced and has easy access to the terminal. LRN is now undergoing construction on their baggage claim area to make it more "user friendly" (although a little burdensome in the meantime) and there is also some landscape work being done to the main entrance to get ready for the opening of the Clinton Presidential Center in November '04. Easy transportation to city (downtown is only 4 mi. from LIT). Also cheaper fares than nearby MEM!
