Maracaibo La Chinita Airport by Jairo Lugo

I am not sure when you went to the airport in maracaibo, but things have
change a lot. Prices are not as bad and there is lots of choices to eat
and drink very reasonable.
Maracaibo La Chinita Airport by Sian Ho min

Maracaibo city is the hottest city in Venezuela and so is its airport, 40
degrees or more, it would appear that the air conditioner system is not working at all. This airport
itself and its staff is another story compared to Caracas Int'l. I spent 4 hours in Maracaibo's
airport and I found nothing but rude and careless staff all around the airport. My flight to Miami
was delayed apparently for some problems with the jet bridges that at least I did not have the
chance to see or walk through to get to the airplane. The prices are extremely high in restaurants
and stores. I just can't understand why Maracaibo being such an important economic centre in
Venezuela since it is the heartland of the oil, has such a dull and unfriendly airport.
