This 5-Star Airport Rating recognises the superior Quality of customer experience that Tokyo Haneda Airport provides to travellers. Airport Rating is based on criteria including process efficiency, terminal comfort and cleanliness, passenger facilities and staff service. The ratings assess official staff (immigration, police, security, customs etc) as well as other general airport staff (shops, restaurants and cafes, help counters etc).
Tokyo Haneda Airport is located just 8.5 miles from central Tokyo, and with it’s excellent rail and road access has become a very popular airport for both international and domestic travellers.
The Airport has three terminals. The domestic terminals (Terminal 1 and 2) are connected by an underground walkway, as well as a free shuttle bus. The international Terminal is located on the opposite side of the Terminal 1 runway, and is connected to the domestic terminals by the free shuttle bus as well as the rail link.
Terminal 1 is predominantly used by Japan Airlines, as well as Skymark, StarFlyer. Terminal 2 is used by ANA All Nippon Airways, Solaseed and Air Do.Haneda Airport is open 24 hours, although the domestic terminals (1 and 2) are only open from 5am to 11pm. The International Terminal is open 24 hours.
Terminal 1 and 2 are managed by Japan Airport Terminal Co Ltd , with the International Terminal being managed by Tokyo International Air Terminal Corporation.
