"Polaris Lounge was very disappointing"
K Morten (Thailand)
✅ Trip Verified | The SFO United Polaris Lounge was very disappointing. I frequently fly long haul flights to Asia out of San Francisco and have used the Polaris Lounge many times. Usually the food selection is excellent, this time not. Arriving shortly after 8PM, the sit down restaurant was already closed, even though the lounge is open for another couple of hours. The food selection in the buffet section was dismal; salad looked wilted and not appealing, a tray of two different sandwiches, four hot dishes, some assorted cheeses/meats, no French bread or rolls to be seen, just a few crackers and a tray of two dessert squares. The secondary food section in the quite zone was also closed. The best way to describe the food experience was "Cheap". Because of my United flight status I was able to switch to the United Club in the main terminal. Night and day difference, better food, wider selection, offerings such as candy and other assorted sweets. The Polaris Lounge at SFO used to be the Premium place to relax before a flight - not any more.

"selection of food and drink was decent"
16 reviews Mahmud Noormohamed (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | Due to the flight disruptions, this lounge was very busy throughout our stay in the lounge. This is a huge lounge and we were able to find seating. There is natural light flowing in from the large windows. The added bonus of the window seats is plane spotting especially the foreign carriers taking off and landing. There are power ports for AC and USB at every seat. The selection of food and drink was decent with a buffet set up which included a hot plate (korean style bbq chicken), soup, salad bar, sandwiches/wraps and the regular fare of nuts, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, coffee and sodas. The attendants kept refilling the buffet hot plate and sandwiches/wraps. The bathrooms are very clean and maintained by attendants every 5-10 minutes. Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent.

"lounge is comfortable with clean bathrooms"
16 reviews Mahmud Noormohamed (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | This United Club was quite busy during the post early morning travel period. Nonetheless, there was enough seating available with natural light and views of the tarmac. There was a parse selection of food and drink. An employee rudely told me they were out of scrambled eggs. The remainder of the offerings were nothing I liked (porridge, biscuits, cheeses and cold cuts plus the regular fare of nuts, cheese, fruit, coffee and sodas. The lounge is comfortable with clean bathrooms and a very friendly staff. An agent put us on a standby flight from SFO-YVR when the agent at check-in would not do so. Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent.

"Can't even access the club"

✅ Trip Verified | Going to stop flying United. Can't even access the club with passes due to "overcrowding". Selling too many club accesses when you don't have capacity.

"not hesitate to use this club again"
5 reviews Ronny Adriansyah (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | Visited this lounge 04/26 between 3:30 to 5:30 PM with Hubby on the way to LAX then SE Asia. We usually go to the larger lounge at Terminal "E" but since our flight leave from gate C1 right next door, we decided to use this lounge. The lounge is smaller than the "E" but still have good amount of seating. Regular buffet offering from UA and there is a bar with very friendly bartender. Cleaners were very proactive, there's hardly any dirty plates or cups on any tables. All employees in this club seems to be very competent and works hard. I will not hesitate to use this club again in the future if my flight leaves from Terminal "C".

"plenty of seating available with natural light"
16 reviews Mahmud Noormohamed (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | This lounge was very busy during peak afternoon travel period and then the crowd dissipated until the beginning of the peak evening travel period.. There is plenty of seating available with natural light flowing in from the large windows. The window seats are a great place for plane spotting especially the foreign carriers taking off and landing. There are power ports for AC and USB at every seat. Opposite the bar area, there is a table and chairs that the stretches the length of the lounger. There was a decent selection of food and drink. A buffet set up included a hot plate (taqueria), soup, salad bar, sandwiches/wraps and the regular fare of nuts, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, coffee and sodas. The attendants kept refilling the buffet hot plate and sandwiches/wraps. The bathrooms are very clean and maintained by attendants every 5-10 minutes. Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent.

"lounge is small but well equipped"
Simon Fowler (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | British Airways passengers flying to LHR are entitled to use the lounge which is located where the D and E concourses converge. It is not obvious. The lounge is small but well equipped with a short menu of snacks and light meals and a bar (with a $5 charge for premium beers and wines). State laws forbid the sale of spirits. Friendly and helpful staff. For spotters there's a great view of the runway

"food offerings are rather sparse"
16 reviews M Hamured (United States)
✅ Trip Verified | The United Club at DFW has large windows with great views of the tarmac/apron. The windows also help bring a lot of natural light into the lounge. The lounge looks small but there is a lot of space. Seating is comfortable The food offerings are rather sparse. Ham/cheese sliders, potato salad, soup and snacks. There is a nice bar area. Bathrooms were very clean and the receptionist very friendly. WiFi has a very strong signal.
