Not Verified | This Royal Silk Domestic lounge has just been renovated and you could tell with the fancy automatic door that opens with a push. The first Thai Smile flight (they use the same lounge) flies out at 6:15am and the lounge opens at a reasonable 5am. I arrived at 4:50am and there was a janitor inside who told me to take a seat and wait for the receptionist. The receptionist turns up and she took my gold card and boarding pass, oddly returned to me after 20 minutes. I was the first person in the lounge so I presume she must’ve had to start her computer. She was courteous and apologised for the lack of hot food. The lounge essentially is one big room with a food corner and toilets at the end. All seating is identical and comfortable. There are power outlets at most seats and these are clearly labelled. The food corner consisted of dim sum, pastries, salad bar, sandwiches and some questionable eggs. I say this as I don’t know if they were hard boiled then chopped or actually fried. They didn’t look like they belonged in a lounge, to be fair. But I got a decent breakfast with the rest of the food. I was told after the main kitchen opens there is actually hot food eg fried noodles or soup. The one thing that absolutely threw this lounge into the pits is the condition of the toilets. I had used the bathroom stall and found leaking water and a disheveled lock. How can a lounge that was recently renovated have such a poor bathroom? The bathroom on the plane was still better. In conclusion, it’s a good space to wait for your flight and get a cappuccino and a sandwich, but definitely not good if you need to use the bathroom!

✅ Trip Verified | Despite the fact the lounge is comfortable, the quality of the food is really poor. It is quite difficult to do it worse. Cold items without taste.

✅ Trip Verified | The Royal Orchid lounge I visited was located in Terminal 2 around 8am. I found the lounge to be spacious and well managed. The toilets were clean. I was disappointed with the limited food offering.

✅ Trip Verified | Thai Airways use the Asiana Airlines lounge at Seoul Incheon. Many seats for passengers but a bit crowded inside. There are some foods for your breakfast but nothing special. There are a few sleep pods which give you a private zone but they are always occupied. if you hold the priority pass card, there are other 2-3 luonges in this terminal but not better than this one.

Not Verified | Really nice lounge, I was on the London day flight so the lounge was very quiet, Plenty of food and snacks available, as well as Hotel meals, Thai and Western choice. Usual Drinks selection, Tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcohol. Plenty of seats but could not hear any announcements in the lounge, Toilets very clean and spacious.

✅ Trip Verified | Thai Airways use the United Airlines lounge at Heathrow. Great Lounge, Plenty of nice seating areas with lots of space, Good food offerings, Usual Tea, Coffee, soft drinks and Alcohol. The washrooms and toilets were spotless. Staff very polite which makes a change.

✅ Trip Verified | I have used this main BKK lounge for many years, and the standards just keep getting worse. Overcrowded, quite dirty and worn, and the food is simply awful. When is Thai going to wake up to the fact this is well below an acceptable standard? If your ticket will let you (Star Alliance etc) use the EVA Air business class lounge which is 100 times better and much nicer staff and service as well.

✅ Trip Verified | Great food and service, but the space is awful. Extremely poorly lit and insufficient or poorly distributed air-conditioning. It is such an embarrassment for Thailand's national airline lounge in the country's flagship airport. The only saving grace is the exceptional staff and good.

✅ Trip Verified | It's spacious and plenty of seating, food offering is ok, as well as drinks and alcohol too. Toilets and showers are all good. The one thing that annoys me is the insufficient air conditioning! At around noon the place feels warm and muggy. Truly a shame for this airline of the country, a big oversight really. For this reason, it is difficult to spend an extended period of time. My advice is to bring along one of those mini electric fan, you are going to need it.

✅ Trip Verified | One of the best Thai Airways lounges in my opinion. The food selection is great and the location and comfort is good making it easy to get to your flight. Improvement suggestion would have been to have a staffed bar in addition to the self service bar area.
