"not top-notch but recommend"
8 reviews Andreas Hartlieb (Austria)
✅ Verified Review | The SAS lounge for Star Alliance Gold members at Copenhagen Kastrup airport has a new and fresh appearance, although the interior looks is a bit too overdesigned. Likewise, there is a large of variety of different sorts of seats wich are randomly mixed. By contrast, the offered selection of drinks is quite good and the breakfast buffet is alright. However, the only big disappointment were the shower facilities which made a terrible outdated and nagged impression. On the positve side I have to mention that the lounge is very spacious, the complimentary wifi is very fast, and the staff was extraordinarily helpful. To sum it up: This lounge is not top-notch but definitely to recommend!

"staff was excellent"
Bernt Augustsson (Sweden)
I was resting in this lounge before I took my flight back home. It is a bit small, but quite cosy. The staff was excellent. But one thing: They had only a few food items to chose between. That was ok anyway. There was also plenty of free drinks, both soft drinks, juice, water and alcoholic beverages. It was indeed ok while waiting a few hours for the flight, and it was nearby the gate too. Probably the best experience this time at Chicago Airport (ORD).

"was a bit of a disappointment"
Rory Cooney (United Kingdom)
SAS Scandinavian Gold lounge at CPH Airport is located outside security. No signage to guide you to it. Poor selection of food, mostly hot dogs. Very busy. Very poor wifi. Not a great place to actually relax. Showers are very dated. Considering how good their business class cabin was, the lounge was a bit of a disappointment.

"hassle-free lounge experience"
Tapani Utunen (Finland)
SAS gives you the opportunity to purchase lounge access during online check-in in for 22€ per person and we wanted to try out the SAS Lounge in Stockholm Arlanda Airport (Schengen area, T5). Entered an airy and relatively large lounge with Scandinavian design for a quick lunch between flights and the fresh cold buffet plus soup with a selection of breads was more than enough for us. This lounge is larger than the one in Helsinki Airport (SAS Lounge) and the cold buffet more extensive, moreover, we didn't need to stand in line for seats to be vacated in the Arlanda lounge, which has been the case twice in Helsinki in April-May 2016. Enjoyable and hassle-free lounge experience in Arlanda!

"felt cramped and dark"
Tapani Utunen (Finland)
Wanted to try out the SAS Lounge by paying 28€ per person for entry (I was flying with Lufthansa), felt the fee was reasonable for a try. Busy Thursday evening with three or four SAS flights plus one LH flight departing within an hour from gates 11-15 where the lounge is situated (opposite gate 13). The first thing one notices when entering the lounge: it's not facing the tarmac / runways and the lounge felt cramped and dark. The cold buffet was limited with one variety of cold meat, two salads as well as hot sausages for making a hot dog, if needed. Coffee, refreshments, beer and wines were available as well as a number of Nordic and International newspapers, but missed a view to the planes/tarmac. Not impressed with the lounge: not very good for working nor relaxing at busy times - more like a busy train station with mediocre service.

"Small and sweet lounge"

New SAS lounge at Tromso Airport. Small and sweet lounge. Interior design look simple, blue and white. The dinning area and reading area just side by side .This lounge Only prepare some fruit jus, fruit, coffee, tea and snack (cinnamon bun) only, no much selection.

"horrible wifi access"
T Jensen (Denmark)
Purchased access to this SAS lounge when checking in, around 20 USD. For this you get access to standard lounge with free drinks, news, food, wifi. Impression was mixed. There is lots of places to work. Electrical sockets everywhere. Quiet rooms, fine rest rooms, and drinks selection is good. However the food is so-so. There was a salad and a tomato soup when I was there. And the salad bar consisted of 3-4 different things. Not really interestring. Worst though is the absolutely horrible wifi access. 99.9% of lounge guests work here, or use a smartphone in some way. And you have a download speed of around 30 kb/sec? I will get 100 times that speed at any cafe downtown. Simply not acceptable in 2015. I gave up and used my private 4G connection. Next time I will go for the Diners lounge.

"lounge is spacious and airy"
A Mackenzie (Denmark)
Lufthansa lounge at LHR T2. Large windows look out onto runways and taxiways with lots of activity. The lounge is spacious and airy, subdivided by freestanding furniture. So although the room is large, the ambiance is cosy and quiet. Various newspapers and magazines were available. The seating is mainly leather armchairs separated by table units. A dining area is equipped with dining tables and chairs, in front of a well stocked bar and food buffet. As a nice touch there was a big jug of ready made Pimms (with lots of fruit garnish) available as a celebration of Wimbledon. In the morning the food on offer was bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, plenty of breads, cold meats and various garnishes. At about 11am this changed to hot lunch items: rice, chicken casserole, pasta with sauce, soup and various other items. The staff were very unobtrusive and kept the place clean and tidy. WiFi was easy to use. As this is located in the new Queen's Terminal 2 everything is brand new.

"food selection is ok"
Robert Riis (Denmark)
The lounge consists of two lounges with the same entrance the Scandinavian Lounge on the 4th floor and the Business Lounge on the 3rd. I believe EuroBonus Silver card holders can access the Business Lounge during Summer time and from mid-december until mid-January and it is thus more crowded than the Scandinavian Lounge. The food selection is ok nothing extraordinary. The beverage selection is quite disappointing (one red wine one white wine one beer). The space is rather nice in classic "Danish" design. The best lounge in CPH.

"gives the wrong impression"
D Minto (Sweden)
SAS is one of my favorite airlines but please do something about the Stockholm lounge. The offering of food and drinks compared to Copenhagen and Helsinki are incredibly poor and gives the wrong impression of Swedish service and cuisine to visitors.
