"poor food selection"
4 reviews Armando Pomerane (Argentina)
Heavy crowds with lots of airlines visiting this lounge. To find a seat is really difficult. There are inside and outside (patio) facilities. Poor food selection with basic sandwiches and cheese. Drinks were good. When someone leaves a table, it takes some time to get it cleaned. Nothing special

"extremely crowded"
1 reviews N Kim (Hong Kong)
LAN offered access to two lounges, Sumaq and VIP, in Lima airport for Premier Business and elite passengers. Both lounges were shared with Priority Pass members and were extremely crowded. My friends and I need to queue for 10 minutes, for checking our boarding passes, before allowing into the lounge. Cold sandwiches, fruits and soft-drinks were served inside. Toilets are small and showers only available in Sumaq.

"staff was very friendly"
1 reviews Javier Villalon (Spain)
Fast and stable internet connection. Wines were fine. The food was not very varied (mostly sandwiches and some fruits) but there was a nice selection of ice creams and drinks. The staff was very friendly. The press selection was quite limited. Nothing relevant to point out.

"is better than no lounge!"
1 reviews B Bamkin (Australia)
Firstly, like all soft LAN products, it's very hit and miss. Second time here and the front desk were ambivalent towards us as opposed to last time where we were warmly welcomed. The food is very basic, really basic. The wine is passable. The layout is somewhat disjointed, but it does afford different zones. Avoid upstairs facing the runway and views, it's hot, even when the sun isn't beaming in. Maybe someone forgot to pay the power bill which would be very LAN. On the plus side, the seating is excellent and the premium entry is a great idea which means you avoid queues. But no one is likely to tell you, so remember to head upstairs to the right of the terminal, you won't regret it (they don't check your boarding pass so I suspect anyone could use it). I wish it was better, but it's not bad and any lounge is better than no lounge!

- Santiago De Chile Airport
Carlos Franco (Brazil)
The VIP Lounge of TAM/LAN inaugurated in March 2015 is excellent. There are 2 floors with a view of the courtyard from Santiago Airport: good space, plenty of tables and comfortable chairs. Employees were polite and helpful. I took a shower and it was great: much space and an amenity kit available. Wi-fi was good. You can use a sleeping room: a dark and quiet environment. But in terms of food and drink, there are many options but they are not great.

"a welcome improvement"
Sergio Espinosa (Chile)
Amazing lounge, a huge step up from the previous ones. Massive in a way you are not used to see in Latin America, but also very well organized, with plenty of space for every kind of traveller. I visited it in a rush hour (late evening departures) and it didn't feel packed. Food provided is nothing to die for, but with a nice selection of sandwiches, sushi and some local specialties. Excellent wines and champagne. Overall, a welcome and much needed improvement due to the size LATAM has achieved and Santiago airport as well.

"Sushi was great"
K Luckert (Costa Rica)
The new LATAM lounge in SCL Airport. Huge 2 story lounge. Was not crowded in the evening when LAN has lot of flights. Open bar with excellent alcoholic (incl Champaign) and non-alcoholic choices. Food selection good for a Business Class lounge. Sushi was great. There are also tasty Sandwiches. Hot empanadas and pastries apart from chips and nuts. Fresh salads available. Clean showers and clean private restrooms. Good Wifi and there is even a room big screen cartoon for travelers with kids. Another big screen shows sport events. Great Tarmac views. Overall great Biz lounge that beats their competition at SCL, especially the US Carrier lounges. I'd rate 10 instead of 8 if there would be a soup and pasta choice as well for those who don't like Sushi and bread that much and more choices for vegetarians.

"pleasant lounge offering a reasonable choice of beverages and snacks"
4 reviews Diana Pincott (United Kingdom)
LAN Airlines lounge at Santiago de Chile Airport is tucked into a corner of the terminal on the first floor is this pleasant lounge offering a reasonable choice of beverages and snacks. The girls at the reception were welcoming. There were staff circling the lounge to remove empty plates and glasses. The wifi was excellent, the quality of my Facetime call home was superb.

"LAN Sala VIP is a crowded and overheated place"
Juan Pablo Reyes (Colombia)
The LAN Sala VIP at Bogota Airport is a crowded and overheated place, it is always hard to find a free seat. EDR airport is tiny for its huge traffic, with only three lounges for the international operations. Limited and poor food and beverages.
