"tea or coffee, cartons of warm orange juice"
3 reviews Paul Mercer (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | The lounge consisted of a few chairs and tables and a food counter. The only drinks available apart from tea or coffee were cartons of warm orange juice. There was also a half-empty bowl of crisps and two wrapped sandwiches. Although the main waiting area was more manic it at least had two food shops and after a while several passengers in the lounge decided it was better to wait there. If airlines are expecting business passengers to pay a significant premium they should at least offer the basics of what one might expect in a lounge – a selection of food and drink, magazines and a flight display board.

"lounge of world class quality"
Anders Pedersen (Vietnam)
✅ Trip Verified | 3rd party lounge of world class quality. I paid entrance and got the best and most delicious hot food available. Spacious. Extremely clean. Toilets so clean I feared to use them. Nice large smoking room with views and soft chairs. Huge and varied drink offers especially all sorts of South African wines and beers. Very good internet. Quiet area for sleeping. I will come again.

"not expensive to access"
Anders Pedersen (Vietnam)
✅ Trip Verified | Excellent Lounge operated by Bidvest Premier Lounge, in my view world class and not expensive to access if pay by cash. Cleanest toilets, smokers section perfect. Good views of tarmac. Sleeping section. No champagnes or a la carte, but perfect RSA-sparkling wines and a huge, beautiful arranged and well stocked buffet beats any a la carte service. Compared to nearby Aspire lounge, it 2 steps up, despite Aspire is also good.

"disappointed with lounge"
K Morsen (Thailand)
✅ Trip Verified | I was disappointed with Kenya Airways lounge in Nairobi since this was the home city of the airline. It is very large with five separate rooms; three lounge areas with televisions, a dining room and a quiet communal sleep room. The lobby and first lounge are modern, the rest of the rooms were very drab. The presentation of the food in the dining area is not very appealing and the hot & cold food selection was very basic. They did have very good fresh juices and draft soda drinks. The beer, wine and alcohol selection was minimal. The WiFi was fast and consistent.

"I love the pulse of this lounge"
Anders Pedersen (Vietnam)
✅ Trip Verified | In Nairobi I had to spent the night due to missed connection causing a downgrade to economy class. However, fortunately they granted me lounge access due to all the trouble that I have had. The lounge has food, views, and nice architecture with curving designs and view of tarmac. I love the pulse and dynamics of this lounge with its many sections with different themes. Food is good and drinks are fine and plenty. It has 6 beds in silent area and I slept well till next morning.

"very bad quality of food"
C Gormen (Mauritius)
✅ Trip Verified | Nice atmosphere, very clean but very bad quality of food. The worst croissant i have seen in my life. Almost half of the buffet was empty. Very disappointed and bad image for our destination.

"good views of the aircraft"
Hamdhan Mohamed (United Kingdom)
✅ Verified Review | Spacious lounge with good views of the aircraft. Limited food however, mostly snacks. The spring rolls weren't very nice, but the beef samosas were good. Making tea/coffee was hard as you couldn't get your own hot water (they had a very complicated machine) so I had to wait for staff to operate it for me. Something as simple as a kettle or hot water dispenser would've been much more functional. Otherwise, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

"quiet, relaxing and had variety of bites"
Dr Lucy Matu (Kenya)
✅ Verified Review | I had not visited the lounge for some time so was glad to stop over, relax and get something to eat before my flight to Kisumu. It was quiet, relaxing and had variety of bites and drinks (hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Kenya Airways hospitality at its best.

"totally sterile atmosphere"
8 reviews Alain Kupferman (Thailand)
✅ Verified Review | Large lounge with plenty of different rooms (eating corner, relax, etc.), relatively comfortable, totally sterile atmosphere. Food-wise and drink-wise, one of the worst lounges, with a miserable selection. Coffee is good, but you have to queue, as the coffee machine is under supervision of a dedicated person.
