"a huge disappointment"

(Canada)

Verified Review | For a Hub lounge, everything is minimal in this lounge. Food is almost inexistent. Even if there is a bar refreshment are minimal. Because there is no food I went outside in the food court to buy something and when i came back to the lounge I was told that food is not allowed inside the lounge and i had to eat my sushis outside. This all thing was in line with the business class experience with Copa Airlines which is a huge disappointment when you compare with Air France, Air Canada or any Middle East Airlines.

"sometimes difficult to get a seat"

(Japan)

The lounge was overcrowded and sometimes is difficult to get a seat. Basic snacks selection, drinks, shower and business private room available. WiFi sometimes is very weak and even in the lounge it may not work.

"no lounge at Quito Airport"

(United Kingdom)

All Star Alliance passengers must be aware that Copa Airlines doesn't offer any lounge service at Quito international Airport to business or any other status passenger. A very basic airport lounge available for a fee. A few priority seats available at the gate. Worth to say that not enough seats available.

"most depressing lounge"

(Colombia)

Copa Airlines is a fine small airline that works very well if you flight between Central American countries. But, in Los Angeles Copa Airlines use the United Airlines lounge. I travel a lot, an this is the poorest, saddest and most depressing lounge that you can find. What happened with the American service? The bar has an attendant that you have to tip, this is incredible. The food is not that good and there is no choice. Magazines? Yes, The United magazine.

"comfortable, employees are gracious,"

(United States)

On 26 August 2015 I visited the Copa Club at Juan Santamaria Airport serving San Jose, Costa Rica. The lounge is located in the basement next to the food court. Obviously, there are no views, but the space is comfortable, the WIFI is dependable, the employees are gracious, and the bar is free and adequate.

"I was more impressed on this visit"

(United States)

I revisited the Copa Club at Panama's Tocumen Airport on 26 August 2015. The club is still difficult to find, but the food offering, particularly the bags of Lay's potato chips, are better than I remembered. Also, while there is a good selection of standard free drinks at the bar, there is also complimentary sparkling wine available on request. The lounge is busy and crowded, but the views are excellent. I was more impressed on this visit than I was in July.

"I recommend the airline but not this lounge"

(United States)

Tocumen Airport in Panama is not particularly large, but it sprawls out over a good distance. The Copa Club is centrally located, but it is very difficult to find. The entrance is relatively small and nondescript. There is no signage to help confused passengers, and the directions given by airport employees only made matters worse. I am a retired Spanish teacher, so this wasn't a language problem. A few well-placed signs would solve this problem easily. Once the club is found, it becomes obvious that their template for airport lounges comes from the United Club. The food and drink choices are a mirror image of United's with one exception - quality alcoholic beverages are free. I would recommend the airline but not the lounge.

"would not look forward to a second visit"

(Japan)

Comfortable and attractive enough but a rather crowded lounge which is difficult to locate. Ground staff are not very helpful and lounge staff not very welcoming. Very little food and limited drinks available. Not a bad place but these and other customer service issues as well as limited facilities and food make this a very basic lounge that will not be remembered well by any visitor. No one would look forward to a second visit.
