"experience is just unwelcoming"
G Kan (Singapore)
✅ Trip Verified | Took a flight with Cathay Pacific that consist of two flight with one flight being First Class and the other being Business class while I transit in Hong Kong Airport. Based on Cathay Pacific website, by right I should be able to use the First Class lounge (as it is stated they will honour the highest tier for the whole journey. I arrived in Hong Kong Airport at around 10pm and my departing flight is at 8am the following day. When I went to the first class lounge, I tried to double confirm on the lounge policy that I am eligible for the use of First Class lounge. The staff at the wing insist that I could only use the first class lounge until midnight and have to go to the business class lounge after. When I informed her that it’s stated otherwise in their website, she demanded that I show her. Despite showing her the website, she insist that the policy is such and I can’t enter the first class lounge after. When I requested to speak to the manager, she questioned me if I still want to use the lounge and brushed off my request. As I wanted to shower after my flight, I told her to arrange for me to speak to the manager. She agreed but clearly did not as I had to verified with the manager (whom I had to inform another staff after I showered) that no one had informed her of my request. The whole experience is just unwelcoming.

"Poor show from CX"
Tim Patrick (Hong Kong)
Not Verified | Lounge closed for renovations, over peak travel time at Easter? Nothing else open a this late hour at Logan. The BA lounge closes at 2100, CX could have used this one and extended the timing but chose to save money and not bother. Got a vague email about getting 'points' for the hassle. The real hassle is choosing a late flight thinking at least you can wait in the lounge and it will be open until 1230 only to find that nothing is open. Poor show from CX.

"They have plenty of showers"
1 reviews Satinder Panesar (India)
✅ Trip Verified | It is one of the biggest lounges and has sections like Bar, Tea House, Sleeping pods, Showers, Noodle Bar, Continental. I had a layover of 6 hours. They have plenty of showers so no waiting. If you are a business class traveler and transiting Hong Kong Airport, I highly recommend visiting this lounge.

"What a terrible place"
Ray Kipling (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | What a terrible place. After a grumpy "welcome" (we were on a code share flight so had a boarding pass headed Air New Zealand but with a clear Cathay flight identified for our next leg) we entered the fetid atmosphere of a poorly ventilated overcrowded lounge. It was noisy, had very dirty seats, particularly those with a fabric covering which had stains and were thick with dust in crevices between the cushion and the chair. It was impossible to find a quiet space or to distance form other passengers, many of whom were talking loudly and some of whom were constantly coughing. The food offering was very poor; not everyone wants noodles or soup. We left the lounge exhausted, not refreshed. We won't be using it, or Cathay, again.

"good à la carte food"
3 reviews A Berlov (Russian Federation)
✅ Trip Verified | A large box, many places, there are lounges. Massage is a big turn. The restaurant offers good à la carte food, but the selection is not large. The buffet food is not very good.

"it is below average"
T Kalarman (Australia)
✅ Trip Verified | This lounge is spacious but still crowded. Food is below average and food choices also very few. It is definitely not suitable if you have special dietary preference. Overall it is below average. Carpet doesn't look clean, maybe it is old. I usually visit Etihad or Emirates so may be my expectation is too. Not quite sure people are saying catering is good. Not recommended.

"space is peaceful and elegant"
6 reviews Steven Neoh (Malaysia)
✅ Trip Verified | I spent an hour on the balcony overlooking the concourse at The Deck lounge, the space is peaceful and elegant that you feel you're in a garden café somewhere. Highlights of this lounge include the noodle bar (love the Dandan Mian), the swanky bathroom, and the mind-boggling variety of options from the buffet. I could actually spend 24 hours here, no problem.

"up there as amongst the best"
10 reviews Neil Jeram (Australia)
✅ Trip Verified | I had been to the Wing Business Lounge before but this was a visit to the First which is upstairs. It is a great lounge to while away a few hours. The Wing is a big lounge and has various sections including the coffee nook and the fabled noodle bar. At 5.30 am in the morning the body was not quite ready for noodles and congee but had a light breakfast and shower and out. HK airport must be one of the few where there are so many lounge offerings. The Wing is right up there as amongst the best.

"best place is the restaurant"
Frans Verstraten (Australia)
✅ Trip Verified | The best place to visit is the restaurant. Really good service, great staff! Food portions are small but you have lots of choice. Toilets are nice and clean, but it can be busy. That is, if you want to sit. The bar is pretty good, yet the experience depends on the bar tender; some are top, others are mediocre (one was clearly busy with his phone, kept going into the kitchen... and looked kind of annoyed seeing 4 people waiting for him for him to return (it wasn't an incident as he kept going back into the room behind the bar... must have been a bad day for him). The one thing I don't understand is that if you ask for a G&T, in the restaurant they will ask you what kind of Gin you like (they do have to better brands), while in the bar they serve you the lower end by default. Some of the couches have reached retirement age, the foot and or neck massage room is better ignored. The waiting time is almost always too long and the staff doesn't look like they like their job. I gave up long time ago but retried this week as it the lounge was pretty empty ... unsuccessfully. Waiting time was over 3 hours, just not enough time.. Interestingly, before telling me the waiting time, they asked for my next flight time details. The question remains ... what would have been the waiting time, if I had said 'in six hours'

"plenty of seating"
4 reviews Mandart Chan (Canada)
✅ Trip Verified | The updated lounge might be small, but they were able to fill it with the noodle bar, cold food area, lots of premium drinks and plenty of seating. They have also provided two showers. It is conveniently located near the gates that CX uses.
