"a very small lounge"
S Koenig (United States)
Nothing had changed in the 3 1/2 months since my previous visit. It's a very small lounge subject to overcrowding and unless there's a construction project I doubt things will change. On the plus side it makes virtually any airline club I've been to look good. It's one small step up from sitting in the departure area. I was happy I finally found a place to visit when someone left.

"not as comfortable as most lounges"
S Koenig (Brazil)
Small and not as comfortable as most airline lounges but it's one of the few options outside of security. As we were connecting from an international to a domestic flight we went here. It was overflowing with people waiting some sleeping (sometimes oblivious to the amount of space they were taking up). Due to an absence of sufficient seating some people sat on the chairs by the 3 PC stations making those unavailable to others. One unisex bathroom. It was rather warm inside. The process to access WiFi was unduly complicated: had to go through a long online sign-up procedure to register with the third party commercial service used by the club.

"lounge was very crowded"
Christopher Michaels (United States)
The lounge was very crowded and the staff was inattentive. They came to the table and cleared about 1/3 of the dirty glasses kicked luggage aside and were generally unpleasant and disorganized. The lack of space is the biggest issue but they could make this much better by clearing and cleaning promptly. The food is okay but not great. Overall this is just marginally better than sitting in the regular waiting area and less pleasant than sitting in a restaurant.

"no WiFi in the lounge"
A Lewis (United Kingdom)
This lounge is before security above the gates for United/ British Airways (depending on time of day). It is handy if you've arrived at the airport early and check in is not available otherwise if you have access to other lounges air side you'll probably find those better. There is no WiFi in the lounge however there are 3 computers provided they were in constant use through my visit. There are no showers and just a single toilet for each sex dental floss and mouth wash are provided. Small selection of food and drinks available.

"comfortable and quiet lounge"
S Koenig (Brazil)
Small but comfortable and quiet lounge next to the domestic departure area (I believe there is also one in the increasingly-seldom-used international departures area). You just need to show your AE gold (or higher) card and show your boarding pass. Staff alerted us when our flight was boarding (you can also see it fairly easily since the lines for some gates are right outside the door). A limited selection or snacks and drinks and one or two PCs for Internet use. All in all basic but probably the most comfortable place in the airport.

"No WiFi that I could find"
S Koenig (Brazil)
Club is fairly small but the only option we found we could use before a domestic departure (used a consolidated "VIP" club when departing on an international flight). A few chairs and sofas which could become crowded during peak times. Very limited selection of snacks but some nice sweets at least. Teas and coffees but no alcohol. No WiFi that I could find but there were three PCs avilable for free use (one had technical problems) and another area with one unmarked cable connection for use with one's PC (connectivity was better with that than with the PCs). One TV with local news station and a large screen showing flight departures and arrivals (this did not seem to be updated at times). Lounge is at the far end of Terminal 1; a rather long walk from Terminal 2. Few airport staff seemed to know where the lounge was.

"rest room and nothing to eat"
A Hetier (United Kingdom)
I concur with the former comment. Either they didn't refurbish the Amex lounge or no result was visible. Clean but empty. Just a place to seat a rest room and nothing to eat. No internet connexion. I went out.
