"Nice little lounge"
D Ritchie (Australia)
Not Verified | Nice little lounge. Showers available. You can pay to enter. Food available but not a great selection. Drinks available, alcoholic ones need to be paid for. Great on our trip over to Phuket as it was early morning & there weren't many people there but on our way home, it was very busy & a bit crowded with only uncomfortable seats left. The toilets are actually in the showers so if the two showers are being used, you can't get to the loo. Water wasn't cleaned up in showers after use so you had to navigate that.

"quite a contemporary feel "
R Gonzaga (Malaysia)
✅ Verified Review | Premium passengers on AirAsia X now have access to the Red Lounge at KLIA. They don't tell you this on check in but I did see it on their website. It's a no frills lounge, in keeping with the AirAsia theme. It's got quite a contemporary feel to it but it is small and badly signposted. There are soft drinks (only coke and Sprite) and hot beverages. They mentioned alcohol can be purchased but the staff at the front desk were too busy chatting to themselves so I didn't bother to ask. There are showers and toilets complete with the Malaysian wet floors! The food on offer is very basic and not appealing at all. As lounges go, it's quiet but that's all. You can get in if you pay RM79 but it's not worth it.
