"Foods pretty good"

(United Kingdom)

Trip Verified | Second time I’ve used this lounge in Terminal 1 at Delhi Airport. Both times it was very busy, indeed this time a staff member went round until he eventually got me a seat, albeit on a bar stool which meant my knees were higher than the table! Foods pretty good, small range of hot dishes plus chefs cooking street food, and a couple of deserts. Tea, coffee and fruit drinks in cartons. Not many screens giving you the up to date flight information and no separate wifi, so if you don’t have an Indian phone then you’ll need a voucher (available at the lounge check in) to logon.

"Old, not too clean with awful food"

(Thailand)

Trip Verified | The international lounge of Air India at Delhi Airport is a disappointment. Old, not too clean with awful food and limited selections. Unappetizing food, tired interior, substandard toilets. The difference is amazing and very disappointing. Definitely in need of an upgrade. Hardly any changes over the years. The service is not bad. but everything else needs work!

"Lounge has been closed for 3 years"

(France)

Not Verified | Worst customer experience ever. Flying Air India business class and looking for the lounge at Delhi airport. Lounge has been closed for 3 years and I need to pay to go to other lounge. Air India has lost a business class frequent flyer forever!

"only one seat unoccupied"

(United States)

Verified Review | Vienna Airport lounge used by Air India. Luckily, I found only one seat unoccupied when I entered. I do not understand why some people keep their backpacks, handbags in a way that obstructs other passengers to sit. Anyway, the lounge was small, and it had a quiet room. I was in that room however some people were loud and talking over phone. The food and beverage options were good. They had some delicious Thai curry. Almost everyone was eating it. They had all kind of drinks as well. Overall a good lounge. I wish they manage it a little better and remove the dirty dishes.

"friendly and helpful staff"

(Thailand)

Air India Mumbai lounge operated by GVK is a beautiful lounge and it is a silent lounge, as they are no announcements, but being very large, noise in general is subdued. Seating is comfortable. Very good food, huge choice also in drinks, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Only drawback was the WiFi was very slow, just good to get emails but surfing was impossible. Clean toilets as well.

"the worst airport lounge"

(United States)

This is by far the worst airport lounge I have ever experienced. The seating reminds me of a hospital waiting room. The food and beverage choices are pathetic at best. The 'fresh' food looks days old. There is a bar, but with no attendant. That means no drinks. Receptionist barely acknowledged me when entering and pointed and grunted the direction to lounge seating. The WiFi is non-existent. I would have given zero stars, but that was not an option. Shame on Air India for treating customers with such disdain and disregard.

"I would not call this a lounge at all"

(Canada)

Very Bland. The Air India combined First Class and Business class lounge at Newark airport could do with some nice wall colour. Everything so bland. It was worse than an office kitchenette. Wifi worked, but was slow. Lounge staff were nice. In comparison to other lounges, I would stroll through the airport rather than go to the Air India Lounge - this needs lots of improvement and a face lift. Food and beverages were below par. Work area is in the open. I would not call this a lounge at all.

Very good lounge as there was a variety of canapés and drinks. Lounge staff were happy to help with any of your needs.

"Food was stale and cold"

(India)

My daughter and I took the AI116 from LHR to Delhi. I have never seen a worse spread of snacks in any lounge before. We had to go downstairs to a cafe to get a bite. Food was stale and cold.

"generally occupied by Airline staff"

(India)

This is the only lounge I have seen which is before the security so if you are at highest member level or are flying business class you need to reach little early if you wish to use the lounge. The purpose of relaxing at lounge and boarding when boarding starts will not stand true in this case. Odd and strange it is but this is Air India you can expect anything. The reason I can think of is if you visit their lounge you would notice that it is generally occupied by Airline staff itself and after a minute or two someone will be visiting from Airline to have a snack so it is a free restaurant for them. Last month I sent them a mail that their lounge plugs are not working from months.
