Yichang Sanxia Airport

✅ Trip Verified | First impressions of the airport when entering are pretty good, there was staff at the entrance that were eager to help. However, the check in counter is then a different story. Security behind the luggage x day scanner at check in was rude and disrespectful at best. Both the person in front of me and I were unaware that we packed a portable charger in our check in, that was our fault, fine. But the security staff then shouted at us to open our luggage, he then proceeded to throw things in our luggage all over a table without a single touch of care. He then swore at us in front of everyone and pronounced that the other person and I were idiots. How this airport can put up a four star plaque with confidence is beyond my belief, I have never encountered such a toxic person in the air travel industry. For reference this was on 18/07/2021 in the evening at check in counter 10.
