"rude and incompetent staff"

Trip Verified | Unbelievably rude and incompetent staff. I was travelling to London Stansted on the 28th of September. Ladies at the gate on the Ryanair, especially one (I’m afraid I don’t have her name-unfortunately), extremely unprofessional and rude. Quite a lot of passengers were upset. I would suggest change of staff, otherwise the reputation of the airport and airlines will dramatically change. I will never use this airport again.

"Horrible treatment given"

Not Verified | Horrible treatment given. Staff are not adaptable and were not empathetic or considerate. Just wanted to be difficult and unhelpful. On the other hand security checks were very nice.

Not Verified | Our flight from Athens (23.10.19) was delayed 2 hrs and redirected from Kraków due to the fog, so we landed at Wroclaw airport at night. We had to wait for a replacement service to take us to Balice. We collected some “tickets” from the check in counter to be allocated on the one of three buses going to Kraków. We were waiting for that transport for over an hour without any information when they would eventually arrive to pick up the passengers, not even sure if we have time to go to the toilet. None came to us to give us any information about the busses and when I finally decided to go to the toilet I met a member of the airport personnel, who gave us the tickets before, and I asked how long it would take to wait. He answered without hesitation than it’s only 20 more minutes. So why did we have to wait for that whole hour guessing the time with no clue? When the buses finally arrived the drivers had no idea what to do with those “tickets”, people rushed pushing to get inside. The ticket system didn’t work at all! Such a joke! The driver shouting at people in Polish, disorientated foreign passengers didn’t understand a word. When a lady started talking to him in English to asked a question about stopping in Katowice, he answered ironically in Polish “We are in Poland, we speak in Polish. Not English”. A person who works with foreigner passengers, really? Terrible customer service, no help at all for non-Polish speaking passengers! So disrespectful! Not even mention the airport staff (a young man in his 20s) who was shouting at us in English (at last!) “You bought tickets to Balice airport, you’ll go to Balice!”. I tried to explain him that I had asked someone at the airport about this possibility and they had said something different. Such a lack of communication between the staff members! Such a chaos and mess! At last we ended up on the bus going to Kraków. Not even mention that the journey was horrible because a group of noisy youngsters laughing and shouting at night (midnight till 3 am) while people kept asking them politely for 3 hours to speak quietly because of late hours and tiredness. Such a disrespectful behaviour talking back rudely to the passengers. And again no help at all from the driver. At least we got to Kraków safety, such a memorable journey! Wroclaw airport should really retrain their staff in customer service and basic English if they want to serve properly passengers from all over the world. Sort to say, but it was such a bad experience!

"small but lovely"

Trip Verified | The scale of Wroclaw Airport is small but lovely. There is a lack of USB sockets in the waiting room and lack of seats for people who want to wait at the arrival gate. When it is peak season, it might be difficult to wait comfortably.

Not Verified | The main idea of this airport is to delay and inconvenience. Deboarding your plane via finger you then make two steep flight of stairs. No lift or escalator can be used due to layout of non-Schengen arrivals. Stairs only. Then non-EU passport holders are welcomed to the long line served by just one officer for all who arrived. EU passports are served by two officers who are now doing nothing since no people are in the corresponding line. The only non-EU officer works as slowly as he can spending 4-6 minutes per head. It either means that border control are unable to comprehend that arriving plane can bring 180 pax, or they just enjoy seeing that every chance to make things worse is fully used. Disgrace.

"woefully embarrassing experience"

Arrival to Wroclaw Airport was fine I pre booked my airport assistance and he was there when the aircraft landed got me through passport control and out to me my booked taxi. It was on my departure that I experienced very very poor service (I have used the very twice for good reason). It was 04:00 and we waited until 04:35 for the check-in to open to deposit our case. We also had a walking frame on wheels for me and my pair of crutches. On putting the case on the belt I was told that it was over 15kgs. I explained that I had in fact paid for 2 pieces of luggage one at 15 kgs and another at 20 Kgs the check-in clerk still was trying to charge me for the case which weighed in at 20 kgs. The staff would not have it that I had paid for two cases but was only checking in one piece. Her colleague reiterated that she must charge us and I asked to see the manager who arrived and was incredulous that the clerk was trying to charge for a piece of luggage that was already paid for and that was clearly on her screen as being prepaid. That hurdle over next was my walking frame and crutches I was told that I had to take both through security which is odd because at airports the walking frame usually goes via extra large luggage portals. Never mind I went to security and of course it would not fit through the scanner no matter which way they tried. This was not my fault although I was made to feel that it was my fault lots of dirty looks etc and so on and so forth. Then came the body check - I will always set off the alarms at I have replacement hips and knee. The alarm went off and without asking I was then ordered to remove a cardigan (I had already removed my coat) I was then asked to take my hair down as I had it on top in a bun and remove all hair clips at no time was I given the opportunity to explain about my metal joints and once again I was made to feel guilty for the walker not going through the scanner. The treatment of a disabled person in Wroclaw airport is nothing short of scandalous the security. Do not get me wrong I support everything they do and what they are trying to achieve to keep us safe but really did I deserve such a woefully embarrassing experience - I think not. For sure I will not be returning to Wroclaw again.

Wroclaw Airport customer review

I've been to Wroclaw Airport 4 times. It's fast, convenient, beautiful airport, doesn't matter if it is arrival or departure. The variety of shops and restaurants is adequate and the prices are normal airport prices. A very clean terminal that is one of the prettiest terminals I've been to. Toilets are very clean. Only problem is absence of air conditioning in buses between terminal and airplane, it's very disappointing and uncomfortable in summer.

Wroclaw Airport customer review

I travelled all around the world. I saw many regional airports. Wroclaw/Breslau was excellent. Everything went quickly. Staff were really helpful no queues. Brilliant seats before departure. No problem with luggage. One minus - no good access to the city transport. You must take a taxi to drive to the center.
