"Not a good situation"

Not Verified | Transit through Pearson went OK. However I watched our checked bags, with AirTags, sit at the gate we departed from for 4 days without moving despite filing a missing baggage report. Not a good situation, worthy of a third world airport.

"attitude was lacking professionalism"

Not Verified | The airport facilities are great except transferring our flight to a small terminal which was 15 min by bus and no lounge for Business Class! Staff in the main T1 were very unhelpful and lack the knowledge or willingness to help because they are either busy on the phone group chatting or shying away. The attitude was lacking professionalism, not to an international standards

"in the queue two hours in vain"

Trip Verified | My schedule air Canada flight to Chicago O’ Hare airport boarding time was 07.35 from terminal 1 gate F 34. I arrived on Pearson airport terminal 1 at 06.00 and completed security formality with in half an hour. There long queue in the immigration. I requested attendant staff and also security officer to help us not miss the flight. They did not cooperate us rather they’d behave with us very rudely! We waited in the queue two hours in vain! We missed our schedule flight and eventually our flight to Europe!

"airport is great to fly out"

Not Verified | We had an Air Canada flight, so this is only for terminal 1, the check-in area was clear with lots of signs along the way security was very fast 10 minutes MAX. The airport had lots of moving walk ways (this helped because we had the farthest gate in the terminal) their was lots of seating with ipads where you could order food, the food was amazing. Also the WIFI was fast and lots of shops to past the time. The washrooms were very clean as well as everywhere else. Overall this airport is great to fly out of would fly here as much as I can.

"prices seem abnormally high"

Not Verified |   This airport seems to have a bad vibe to the whole place. Staff seemed unhappy to work here, delays are numerous, food prices seem abnormally high even for an airport, and in all my years traveling I've never had a good experience here. I recommend avoiding if you can!

"commend the check-in people"

Not Verified | When we got to the airport to drop my grandson off for his return trip to Abbotsford, the line-up for check is was four lines long and we were at the end of the fifth line outside of the barriers. I want to commend the check-in people for the efficient way in which we all got checked in within 45 minutes. It's called patience and everyone had lots of them. Job well done Flair check-in people. 10 out of 10

"2.5 hours before our luggage appeared"

Not Verified | When arriving on a KLM flight on Friday 7 April we were told our baggage will be available on belt 10. After about half an hour the sign changed and no KLM flight was shown anymore, the luggage agent then told us to go to belt 8. Stood there for about 30min and was told maybe our baggage is between belt 9 and 10 on the floor, go over and look. Nope nothing. One of the baggage handlers then tells us that the baggage is being split and some will be on belt 8 and some will be on belt 10, the ones that will come on belt 10 will be placed on the floor as they will be mixed up with a flight from Havana. It took 2.5 hours before our luggage eventually appeared on belt 8. No apology from anyone, just rude answers and directions to where to go next.

"Extremely understaffed"

Not Verified | Extremely understaffed, terrible customer service. Workers are rude. Overbooking Gates, had to wait on the tarmac for 45 minutes because they overloaded the Gates and basically told us to suck it because they'd rather get other flights off. Absolute terrible signage, expect to be waiting hours at this airport and getting lost while doing it. Also workers can't even direct you in the right places. So, you'll be battling the workers as well as the terrible layout and directional signs. You will be waiting at this airport. Oh yah, they also charge you an (Airport Improvement Fee) while their hand-dryers don't even work.

"Worst airport I have experienced"

Trip Verified | Worst airport I have experienced. Expect to wait in line for 3+ hours. Rude staff and security. Pre clearance is supposed to be simple I’ve cleared immigration at LAX a lot faster and simpler.

"Rude staff, rude security"

Trip Verified | Rude staff, rude security, poor signage, bad WIFI, and chaotic overall! To make matters worse, the CBSA agent did not tell me to keep the e-gate receipt, as it will be needed to be seen again after baggage pickup. I had to to go through full baggage (opened everything) check by a CBSA agent. What a waste of time. I am shocked they have not fixed this airport's issues! This is an embarrassment to the country.
