Toluca Airport located about 45 minutes away from Mexico City is a nice alternative to Mexico City Airport. It mainly has flights within Mexico and limited service to the USA (Florida, Las Vegas, Houston). The best thing about this airport are the short lines. Check in and security took less than 10 minutes. Its small, but has a new feeling to it and covers the most basic needs. It has a few shops and a Food court consisting of Subway, Domino's, hamburger joint and smoothly. All seems clean and tidy. Boarding is done via Airplane stairs and several ground transport options exist to Toluca and Mexico city
