Not Verified | Over the years I have traveled to and from Thessaloniki countless times. However, tired of the absolutely INSANE prices that you have to pay for the smallest thing as soon as you go through security. Having to pay close to €6 for a bottle of water is not justifiable. As you are not allowed to bring water into the departure hall, you are at the mercy of the sales points that are there. Thinking that a family of four should pay €24 for each bottle of water?! Sharpening! I think the prices at this airport are unreasonable at all, but the price they charge for water should be banned | Genom åren har jag rest till och från Thessaloniki otaliga gånger. Har dock tröttnat på de absolut HUTLÖSA priserna som du får betala för minsta lilla så fort du är igenom security. Att behöva betala närmare 6€ för en flaska vatten är inte försvarbart. Då man inte får ta med sig vatten in till avgångshallen är man utlämnad till de försäljningsställen som finns där. Tänker att en familj på fyra personer ska betala 24€ för varsin flaska vatten??!! Skärpning! Jag tycker att det överhuvudtaget är oskäliga priser på denna flygplats, men priset de tar för vatten borde vara förbjudet

Not Verified | I chose Thessaloniki as my holiday destination because I heard a lot of good things about it. In fact, I really had a great experience in the city, as well as where I was staying. Obviously, wherever I shopped or visited before, the people were fine and decent, but the moment I arrived at the airport this evening, everything changed. Unfortunately, the airport has very poorly trained staff, who are not willing to explain to the passengers what is the matter with the check-in. I, for example, had a very bad experience!!! I would ask in advance that the ladies in charge of this area inform themselves well and, in turn, be patient with all the passengers! I think they may have been taken of this job, because through it they have contact with such and such people, but we are not obliged to put up with their faces either!!! I also work with people and I know it's hard, but despite all that, I try to be patient with everyone because that's what I'm paid for! And it's not ok to write one on the receipt and charge you another higher amount. The rest of the pennies where do they go??? I'm asking for a friend. It's a shame that there is no emphasis on hospitality, responsibility and fairness!!! Honestly, I'm left with a bitter taste!!! So, dear Thessaloniki airports, soon we won't see each other again. Am ales ca destinație de vacanță Thessaloniki pentru că am auzit multe lucruri faine despre el.De altfel chiar am avut o experiență super făină în oraș, cât și unde am fost cazată.Evident că și unde am mai făcut cumpărături sau vizitat ceva oamenii au fost faini și cumsecade, însă în momentul în care am ajuns în aeroport în această seară totul s -a schimbat.Din păcate aeroportul dispune de personal foarte prost pregătit,care nu-i dispus să le explice pasagerilor care e treaba cu chek-inul. Eu spre exemplu am avut parte de o experiență ft proastă!!!Aș ruga în prealabil ca doamnele care se ocupă de aria aceasta să se informeze bine și la rândul lor să aibă răbdare cu toți pasagerii!!!Le cred că poate li s a luat de acest job , deoarece prin intermediul lui au contact cu fel și fel de oameni,dar nici noi nu suntem obligați să le suportăm figurile. !Și eu lucrez cu oamenii și știu că e greu ,dar cu toate astea încerc să am răbdare cu toată lumea că pentru asta sunt plătită!Și nu-i ok să scrie una pe chitanță și să-ți încaseze altă sumă mai mare !!!Restul bănuților unde se duc??? Întreb pentru o prietenă Păcat că nu se pune accent pe ospitalitate,responsabilitate și corectitudine. Sincer vă spun am rămas cu un gust amar!!! Deci , dragă aeroportule din Thessaloniki prea curând nu ne mai revedem.

✅ Trip Verified | I recently arrived at Thessaloniki Airport with my 15-month-old child in a carrier, expecting a smooth transition after a long journey. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I had to collect my luggage, which included a travel case with two bicycles, a stroller, and regular luggage. Managing all of this alone was already challenging, but it became nearly impossible when I tried to get a trolley. To my dismay, I discovered that trolleys could only be accessed with a coin, which I didn't have. There were no machines to obtain coins, nor were there any employees willing to assist or lend a coin. Despite my obvious struggle and the presence of a small child, no staff members stepped in to help. The lack of basic assistance and the unavailability of a simple solution to access a trolley made the situation extremely stressful and frustrating. This level of service is unacceptable, especially for an international airport that should be equipped to handle the needs of travelers, including those with young children and large luggage. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and improve the overall experience for future passengers.

Not Verified | No announcements for the flights, a few sockets for charging mobile, bad behavior, new building but a lot of things are out of order.

✅ Trip Verified | A moderately sized airport some 15km away from the city center. It's clean and modern and during the off-season security check was very fast and efficient. Duty-free shopping is in abundance and has some good offers. Staff is very friendly, far nicer than what you experience at other airports. All arrivals and departures are busboarding only as there are no jetbridges. Connection to the city is by taxi or bus 01X which cost only 1,80 euro.

✅ Trip Verified | Good airport, no delays - it was fairly quiet when I travelled. Security and passport checks all done efficiently. Staff were polite and helpful.

Not Verified | The Fast Track for Business Guests is used by employees of the airport who think they have the right to move forward without asking. I have been flying out of SKG many times this year and this seems to be routine practice to have the paying customers wait in line since the employees consider themselves as being entitled to have priority. Fraport should definitely change this practice!

✅ Trip Verified | Despite enjoying a very relaxing holiday in Greece, the experience was ruined by rude immigration staff at Departures. As I walked through the metal detectors, the alarm did not go off. I think this upset one of the immigration officers so she then rudely said random selection. The man politely swabbed my hands but did not like the fact that I was collecting my belongings. This is because I knew that the result would be negative. The woman was very unpleasant. In the departure area the airport is very clean and the shops are kept tidy. There was enough seating in the gate area.

✅ Trip Verified | Airport is clean, has good shops, great seating area and has clear signs. However, the thing that annoyed me the most was the fact that in the entire terminal you could literally (i counted) just find a total of five power outlets -that should really be something to be improved, so watch out for that.

✅ Trip Verified | The airport is much better than before after the construction of the new terminal and the renovation of the old one. Much cleaner, more shops, better signage etc. However the passenger experience is affected by the lack of jet bridges and the use of buses for going to and from the aircraft. The buses are hot in the summer and cold in winter and they are probably unsafe during the pandemic. If jet bridges cannot be added, then passengers should be allowed to walk to and from the aircraft with buses used only during poor weather. The external spaces also need some greening up and better maintenance.
