"small but efficient"
R Hamidi (Iran)
Not Verified | Tabriz airport is small but efficient. You can't expect an international airport will all the duty-free etc. It's built for domestic flights but still offers a few flights to regional capitals and holiday destinations. Tabriz airport is the home for ATA airline which is a private Iranian airliner. Direct Istanbul-Tabriz flights are very convenient and as I said with minimal bureaucracy at the airport. The airport itself is tidy but with a limited choice for customers. The transit hall and the check-in area relatively small but they meet the purpose. The selection of food and beverages is limited though there a few nice souvenir shops. Tabriz is known for good food, Dry Nuts, Sweet shops which are all available at the airport.

"easy access from city center"
Andreas Becker (Germany)
Tabriz is a small, modern airport with easy access from city center. Taxi costs only 5 Euro. I was at the airport 2.5 hours before flight and there have been only one other flight in this period. I was almost alone there and already start to worry as the check in for my flight starts only 90 minutes before departure. They have plenty of souvenir shops and one cafeteria. Multimedia screens helps to kill the time. All went smooth and fast. No smoking rooms and wifi available.
