Stockholm Bromma Airport

✅ Verified Review | Stockholm Bromma is a small airport. It's very clean and the service was efficient. Great proximity to the city centre. Landing, baggage collection and exit was super easy. Taxi driver able to wait right by the carousel so there is no confusion about meeting places.

The airport is very small, and virtually all of its flights are internal Swedish flights. Firstly, the airport doesn't open until 10:30 am on Sundays, if you show up earlier you will be waiting outside until it does, which in winter in Sweden will not be much fun. Secondly, the first shuttle bus from Stockholm city centre to Bromma doesn't leave Stockholm until 11:20 am on Sunday, and it takes about 25 minutes. (By contrast shuttle buses to Arlanda leave every 15 minutes all day). These factors are well worth bearing in mind for arriving/departing Bromma. The lounge is also closed on Sundays. The airport has a small selection of coffees and cakes, and a very small and not particularly extensive souvenir shop, possibly because the primary users are Swedish people on internal flights.

A small but very nice airport just 8 km from the city center. The distances are short check-in hassle free and handling staff very friendly. I was very happy to hear international traffic had been approved about a year ago. Nowadays there are international flights to Brussels and Copenhagen. I really support the development of this airport because of the proximity to the city center the short distances and a problem free handling.
