Seville Airport

✅ Trip Verified | Positive departure experience at Seville airport on Oct. 4, 2024 for a domestic flight. After reading previous reviews, I was wary of flying out of this airport, but our experience was perfectly good. Before the security checkpoint, we found a pleasant café for lunch. Going through security was quick and easy. Restrooms were clean and a cleaning person was busy at work keeping them so. A push button rating system for the condition of the restroom was outside the door, so perhaps Aena has received the message from prior reviews and is trying to do better. No complaints at all about this airport.

✅ Trip Verified | I had a smooth experience in the airport until I had to go to toilet. They are super dirty. Went to check different ones and none of them had paper. Very unhygienic. Make sure to have some tissues before you visit the restrooms.

Not Verified | This airport is terrible. No working charging stations, the toilets are very dirty. Moreover, screens of for example Burger King are not working, leading to long waiting times. I prefer to never travel over this airport again.

Not Verified | At the airport as I am writing this review. I haven’t come here with high expectations knowing it is a smaller airport and so I am not disappointed by the few shops and services. However, I am hugely disappointed by the state of it - especially when it comes to cleanliness! My very first impression when I got out of the taxi and approached the entrance was, that, despite Spain being in the European Union, they clearly don’t respect the laws that are there to protect non-smokers from the cigarette smoke. Designated smoking areas should be at least 5 meters away from any entrance. The further the better! Yet, here you are greeted by huge smoke clouds as you are trying to make your way into the building. I don’t care if smokers kill themselves by I find it utterly unacceptable that everyone else should breath in the smoke and is disrespected by smokers, let alone airport management. My second impression was even worse: after check-in and before heading to the security check, I needed to use the toilet which was close to the entrance. Boy, did I regret entering that space!! Based on the lack of toilet paper in both 2 (!) toilets, and the rubbish left everywhere and the toilet seat that was clearly dirty, the lack of hand washing liquid, it was clear that this room was not visited by cleaning personnel for (very) long. In general, the whole airport that I walked up and down many times was in desperate need of scrubbing! The other toilet I used also was lacking handwashing gel and the floor was covered with toilet paper, also piling up and falling down from the overflow bin. I sat for over an hour in the big hall by gate B13 to charge my phone, during this time I noticed a lot of dust and other dirt gathering under the seats, and while 2 cleaning ladies showed up during this time, they only poked with their mops under one or two rows of seats, then left, not touching the rest of the area. No tables were cleaned, no plastic bottles that were left behind by lazy passengers were collected. Later, after another walk around I ended up at Gate 14 where I wanted to continue charging my phone at the long table which has many plugs fixed in it, but sadly, none of them were accessible, all were closed and I couldn’t manually open their lid, so I walked back to my previous charging table where i am right now and where the built in plugs are willed with dust, dirt, crumbles. Based on what I have seen so far, I must say that, this airport is pretty neglected and badly maintained. For me, it was truly disappointing, I will probably not return, although I’ve had a wonderful 3 days in town. Should have taken the train on the way back to Barcelona, too!

Not Verified | Had a lovely trip to Seville with wife and baby daughter only to be tainted somewhat by horrific treatment at passport control. After passing through the passport machine we were verbally attacked by a guard whom was shaking with rage. We do not speak Spanish and attempted to calm him but he was completely overwhelmed with anger. We still are unsure the cause of his meltdown but he probably should find a calmer job where he could work away from the general public. Awful airport also, stinks to high heaven.

Not Verified | The best assistance so far, for arrival and departure. For someone who has less mobility and needs a wheel chair. Superb and faster assistance. Everything in place on time!

✅ Trip Verified | We came in from Marrakesh. Time 15:20h Walked to passport control. Waited, Waited, Waited, Some douanier really impolite. Two hours later we were outside. Why so irritated and why so understaffed? Automatic passport control units not open until 16:00h. Why? Why keep 2-300 people waiting, standing up, old people included? Shame on you. And if you had good reasons, explain. Just explain. Do it.

✅ Trip Verified | First time using this airport, it is modern, has plenty of seats, good signals and clear information, security is also a breeze. You can only reach this airport by bus or taxi. Plenty of food options, but very expensive for Spanish standards, even more expensive than Madrid's or Barcelona's airport. But now what shocked me most as people have mentioned it in here, the total lack of cleaning, I can not explain why, but this airport is filthy. Toilets, floor, seats, all dirty, litter all over the place. I could not believe it.

✅ Trip Verified | Very easy to reach and easy to move around inside terminal. Clear signs, polite and friendly staff. Plenty of seats by gate.

Not Verified | The airport there is very dirty the toilets stink of urine. Only 11 gates. Very bad experience although the security was very good. Flew with Ryanair and we had to walk 4 minutes to our aeroplane.
