"shop was unmanned and the food was stale"

I was on the first flight of the day out of Santiago de Cuba airport. We were told to be at the airport 3 hours before departure. However, staff didn't even turn up until 15 minutes after this time and by the time they were ready for check-in, it had been a 30 minute wait. Then another wait ensured as we had to wait for security to get ready. This other wait was another hour in the check-in hall with minimal seating and no one anywhere near the security area. Once finally getting into the departure gate, the seating (which was abundant in here) was set up like a maze. The shop was unmanned and the food was stale. Only praise I could give was cold beer and great wifi speeds.
