"feels like it needs to modernise"

✅ Verified Review | Santander airport feels like it needs to modernise. It is a small airport that is dealing with a larger number of passengers. Everything feels a bit worn, it could do with sprucing things up a bit. The cafe before check in was very nice and had a good selection of food at a reasonable price.

This is a small but tidy and well run airport that I suspect will increase in demand in near future. Everything is laid out well there are modest food and drink facilities clean toilets and small offices for several car hire firms (Hertz Europcar Sol etc.) An excellent starting point for exploring northern Spain. Currently Ryanair flies there twice a day from Stansted and I believe Liverpool. Good overall.

Quite a small modern airport which is only 15 minutes by taxi from the centre of Santander. Extremely limited facilities i.e. one small cafe / bar and one small shop with a very limited choice. No facilities airside not even a toilet. Insufficient seats airside.
