Pune Airport

Not Verified | I had one of the most worst experience on Pune airport. Security staff is so rude and bad. They took my moisturizer and face wash on the name of extra liquid. I have travelled through many airports but no other Security staff even never faced such thing at such a big Delhi airport which is international. Security staff think themselves as boss. They are so rude. I have paid extra for my baggage and still took my stuffs.

✅ Trip Verified | Incompetent security, very slow hence people have to wait in long queues. Then poor infrastructure, On 1st floor (near gate 8) no air circulation is happening, no proper air conditioning is there. Entire sitting area is full of mosquitos. We are spending huge money through tax and govt is just looting our money.

Not Verified | Most unfriendly and unorganised staff. Why can't someone check-in 3 hours befor the flight? I came from a nearby city to take a flight and had to wait as the counter opens only 2 hrs before. No facilities, unclean this place is.

✅ Trip Verified | Incredibly incompetent staff, almost missed our flight because they had "error in system" and they wouldn't care less to fix it, took them 1h to give us boarding passes. Please consider Mumbai, Taxi to Mumbai is not that much and will save you nerves and possibly missed flights.

Not Verified | I'm a resident of this city and I can honestly say that this is the worst airport in India. It is a defence airport but the state government has repeatedly shown their unwillingness to build a new one and that too from at least past 20-25 years. They simply hike the prices of land and then the subsequent govt cancels the proposal and bring in their own proposal to earn money. Pune is a base to big MNC's and educational institutes and I firmly believe that it deserves far better than this!

Not Verified | Very bad experience at Pune airport. Since we had a connecting flight they had not updated on the screen and also the boarding gate. Very disappointed with the services. It was nothing more than a bus stand. Secondly, there is nothing to eat and there are few shops which take double price and not at all worth.

Not Verified | Very poor quality of services, there is no lounge and no canteen for a meal or decent options to eat dinner. There are small vendors charging double price for water and similarly for tea in a tiny cup and that is also half full. There is no inspection or quality check for any shops. Too many ad-hoc changes at the airport from pick up to car movement and random rules. Now passengers have to walk far outside for a cab with a bad walkway to pull heavy suitcases outside. Pune is a big IT, pharma and auto hub but the quality of facilities and service are very poor.

Not Verified | Although capacity has been enhanced and facilities are relatively better, overall cleanliness and passenger comfort e.g. Efficiency of air conditioning is still far from satisfactory. I live in Pune and would want this airport to be one of the best in the true sense. Customer experience must be top class at such an important airport. There is a lot of room for improvement.

✅ Trip Verified | The Aerobridge 5 and 6 at Pune airport are really dirty and full of bird mess / pigeon droppings. As you get out of the plane or board it, one is stepping on pigeon droppings and this is very unhygienic and unaesthetic. Please make sure that birds are not allowed to nest in the Aerobridge and dirty the entry point to planes. Kindly clean these urgently. Also Belts at baggage arrival have the same problem and are full of bird droppings. No passenger wants their bags dirty and touching bird droppings while collecting baggage. Kindly address this serious hygiene issue urgently!

Not Verified | Not clean, not many shops open during the night. No maintenance at all. It's not lively. No professionalism. Hence I would not recommend this airport.
