Not Verified | My son, who is epileptic, had a seizure during the security check in. We had already requested Special Assistance at the desk, and the airport team were incredibly helpful and took us to a quiet room to wait until our flight was called. They checked on us every 15 minutes, and arranged a wheelchair and preferential boarding once the Gate opened. They also ensured that the crew were aware of our situation, and forwarded the request for assistance to Gatwick.

✅ Trip Verified | My wife, my daughter and I were waiting at the gate to fly to Vienna. Suddenly a man in charge of the security wanted to control again the identity of my wife and ask her a lot of questions probably to make that her passport was not falsified. It took 20 mn. She was the only person controlled among at least 200 passengers waiting, she felt very uncomfortable and finally discriminated.

✅ Trip Verified | Airport with the slowest and least professional staff ever. Greece is beautiful, I love its rhythms ... but here we are absurd. 3 planes in one day, and the ability to wait 2 hours to check in your baggage. Once I got to the check-in desk I was asked to wait a moment. 8.50 am, flight at 9.15 a.m. I waited 5 minutes and asked what the problem was and the lady told to go to a colleague at another check-in desk. Slow, disorganized, unprofessional staff. Bad experience.

Queue, queue, queue. It's all you do at Preveza Airport in Greece. If my next holiday to Greece involves flying into this airport, I'll change my holiday plans. On arrival we were met with extensive queues outside the terminal building; two-and-a-half hours later we still hadn't checked in! But it didn't stop there - once we had checked in and had our luggage weighed we then had to queue up for another half hour with our luggage to have it scanned and taken off us. More queues for security and toilets airside left a really bad taste in the mouth and I would advise anyone against using this airport if they can possibly help it.
