Poznan Airport customer review

A smallish airport but modern and lots of facilities for an airport of that size. Longish queues at checkin but it was a fully booked Ryanair flight so this was to be expected. Instead of parking planes right up to the terminal where there is usually lots of space they use buses to ferry people the 100meters or so. The airport is very close to the city center but the travel time is longer than expected due to the stop start nature of the route taxi fare from center to Airport for me was 20PLZ. For some odd reason there are duplication of services at this airport which is odd for its size. by the exit/entrance there are 2 very small newsagents opposite each other. In the tiny departures area there are 2 different tiny duty free shops both selling same kinds of goods.

Poznan Airport customer review

Very pleasant and modern small city Polish airport. Spacious and airy terminal building with restaurant (up via moving staircase or by lift) overlooking the runway serving drinks and /or meals. Quick service friendly staff and not bad food. Good check in procedures-quick and efficient staff. Now services to London Stansted with Ryan Air (7 days a week) and London Luton (4 days a week) with Wizz Air. Internal flights to Warsaw with LOT Polish Airlines. If you need a taxi into town get a radio taxi by phone-ask at information desk for the numbers-the curb taxis at the airport are much more expensive and could rip you off. The bus into town is twice an hour but a slow stopping route into Poznan. Hire cars are available from the airport and there is a new and clean looking bed and breakfast hotel just over the road from the airport if you need to spend the night.
