"queue for the border was moving quite fast"

(United Kingdom)

Not Verified | The queue for the border was moving quite fast, the border guards were working fast. The toilets in the baggage reclaim area was clean although there was a queue to them, one of the two urinals wasn't working. The toilet would be better if they were bigger albeit they were quite clean

"It is worth improving the cleanliness"

(Poland)

Not Verified | I picked up the horribly long waiting time for the luggage after almost an hour of waiting (there were no other flights at that time). It is worth improving the cleanliness and smell of the toilets. The entrances are full of cigarette butts and the stench of cigarette smoke - despite the information about the possibility of smoking in designated places, the staff does not enforce it from passengers. Very high prices in bars.

"check-in and security were very quick"

(United Kingdom)

Not Verified | The check-in and security were very quick. One bottle of water was quite expensive. This is a very nice but quite small airport and there isn't much choice where to go but it was OK for me.

"experience at the airport was pleasant"

(United Kingdom)

Not Verified | When I got out of the plane, there was no bus shuttle to the terminal but this is understandable because of the Coronavirus. Border control was fast and my experience at the airport was pleasant.

"completely inefficient"

(Czech Republic)

Trip Verified | One of the worst experiences - disrespectful behaviour of the staff is a standard. I fly in and out every two weeks and do a year now I can recollect any pleasant experience. staff responsible for a fast track- every time I am “greeted” with questions do I have a right to use the fast track - and that’s even before I show my status card. Flying into Poznan airport is fast and completely fine. Flying out is a drag! The security check is always busy- if two gates are open, consider yourself lucky- queuing takes a lot of time and is completely inefficient.

"Staff a bit typically surly"

(United Kingdom)

Not Verified | Staff a bit typically surly which doesn't bother me but upsets the Mrs and others at times. Pretty fast and straightforward although they could do with showing the world cup match on a screen in a bar etc somewhere. In departure lounge the gents toilets were disgustingly filthy with the urinals all near overflowing, with a lot of urine on the floor and 3 cubicles for a dozen terminals a huge queue of men constantly. Utterly ridiculous. Free WiFi with ambiguous marketing terms seems a con.

Poznan Airport customer review

(France)

We arrived from Rome with Ryanair bussed quickly to the terminal which is new bright and clean. Luggage arrived almost in a blink of an eye. Easy navigation to the exit with a stop in a clean toilet several ATMs very convenient. 15 mins from the moment we landed to the car pick up. Highly recommended airport nice experience.

Poznan Airport customer review

POZ seems to be modern and fresh but somewhat basic regional airport. I guess it gets cramped easily at peak times but is deserted for the rest of the day. You can find everything you need but without most extras. Aircraft park a few hundred meters away in front of the old terminal so there is a short ride in the terminal bus to get to the terminal. Luggage arrives within a few minutes much better than in Warsaw. The green City Transit Authority buses to the city center stop just outside the new "L" line is the fastest option. Bus ticket costs 260 PLN and should be bought at the RUCH shop at the terminal exit and then validated immediately onboard the bus. The "L" bus goes to the main railway station with a few stops enroute but as in Warsaw the journey takes a long time in peak traffic. If you prefer a taxi just tell the driver the name of your hotel or if you want to go to the railway station ask for "dworzec PKP" (Polish Rail station). Poznan itself seems to be an interesting city and its airport has plenty of potential. Don't hesitate to use it.

Poznan Airport customer review

Since last writing about this airport a year ago there have been various improvements. There are now more flights to the UK by the budget airlines Ryan AirWizzair and Central Wings (part of LOT Polish Airlines). Also BA are starting up daily flights from Gatwick to Poznan and return from the end of March 2008.Maybe one of the budget airlines might set up in competition to BA from Poznan to Gatwick to reduce the fares on that route but that maybe my wishful thinking! There is an an express bus from the Airport to Poznan main railway station-about 20 mins to half an hour depending on traffic. The taxis are also better regulated now and you have a right to ask for a receipt at the end of your journey so you are not overcharged. Into town is currently about 20 Zloty about 4 GBP and takes about 15 minutes again depending on traffic. The restaurant overlooking the runway (upstairs) has now had a makeover and is more cosy and warmly furnishedbut the staff are still very helpful and friendly and speak good English. Can recommend the Zurek Soup(sour rye with Polish sausage and boiled egg) served in a hollowed out bread loaf. Nicely served Coffee and tea with lemon too.

Poznan Airport customer review

A smallish airport but modern and lots of facilities for an airport of that size. Longish queues at checkin but it was a fully booked Ryanair flight so this was to be expected. Instead of parking planes right up to the terminal where there is usually lots of space they use buses to ferry people the 100meters or so. The airport is very close to the city center but the travel time is longer than expected due to the stop start nature of the route taxi fare from center to Airport for me was 20PLZ. For some odd reason there are duplication of services at this airport which is odd for its size. by the exit/entrance there are 2 very small newsagents opposite each other. In the tiny departures area there are 2 different tiny duty free shops both selling same kinds of goods.
