Paderborn Airport

Not Verified | Paderborn (PAD) is a regional airport supporting the OWL area. PAD is mainly used for charter flights and has limited and unreliable access to other larger airports mainly MUC and FRA. Overall I like my little airport but the Customs Officials have issues with foreigner and international travelers. The Customs Officials are very unprofessional, rude and enjoy bullying. Their treatment will definitely spoil your vacation. I am sorry, but I cannot more recommend PAD for foreigners and international travelers.

❎ Not Verified | The airport and their airlines offer a wide range of European and North African leisure destinations, but also large German cities such as Frankfurt or Munich. Nice little shops and restauants/cafes. Staff are very friendly and the waiting times as well as the walking times are unbeatable. Love flying from/to the Airport.

Great regional airport. Friendly people and some little shops. It is nice and clean, everything goes fast, I have never waited more than 20 minutes. The flights to Munich and Frankfurt gives opportunities to travel from there and the flights to Antalya and other vacation destinations are great too.

Great regional airport. Min check in time for Lufthansa flights is 30 mins. Good connections via MUC to international destinations. Reasonable amenities at the airport.

A first class airport with a good range of facilities. There does not seem to be the usual hectic atmosphere of most airports bringing back the pleasure into flying. Decent food at non "rip-off" prices particularly recommend the cafe/restaurant on the mezzanine floor.

A regional airport with very modern facilities catering mainly for leisure travel: Lots of travel agents a decent check-in area restaurant/bar glass-walled departure area airbridges in use. There is a modest charge for parking near the terminal (incl. multistorey car park) but car parks located a bit further away (still just a few minutes by foot) are free of charge.
