"everything is so laid back and friendly"
Stephen Palmer (Australia)
A beautiful airport. All of you who remember how airline travel was in the sixties and seventies would recognise Ndola. Originally built as a R.A.F. airport during the second world war it has continued as the airport to service the Copperbelt region of Zambia. I arrived on a domestic flight and departed international to Johannesburg. Everything is so laid back and friendly. I doubt if there are to many airports that have straw thatched tables for your final beer before departing and straw thatched toilet blocks. I love this airport and I usually have tears in my eyes on arrival and also on departure.
