Milan Malpensa Airport

✅ Trip Verified | Just wish to say that the check in and wheelchair assistance at Malpensa was really excellent and one of the best that I have experienced as a recent wheelchair traveller. Staff were very helpful and efficient. The only issue that I would raise is the state of the toilets.

Not Verified | Not enough seating for eating or at the gate. Bathroom facilities woefully lacking. Not enough and lacking in hygiene. Not impressed compared to other European airports.

Not Verified |   This airport is a complete disgrace. There are a very few seats for passengers, a tiny number of toilets and therefore large queues. Information is difficult to find resulting in going through passport control more than once and the whole experience is an ordeal. At the gate we were standing there for an hour waiting to board. Why are there so few seats, there is plenty of room? I would give it 1 out of 10.

✅ Trip Verified | I was afraid about leaving just before mid August, in the peak holiday season. Instead everything was fine. Security checks were really fast, and for passport control we waited 10 minutes. All in all a smooth experience, and plenty of places to have some snack or drink before boarding.

✅ Trip Verified | The rudest agents I have ever seen. I asked a lady who was standing and clearly had a badge saying “agent”, where the Air Canada check-in was and she yelled “Oh My God! I’m not information!!!” Another walked away as I approached her and I said “excuse me! I’m a passenger!” She turned around, rolled her eyes, sighed, and said “yes?” These people shouldn’t be working with the public.

Not Verified | Malpensa Airport is not International enough to call it International Airport. The first time losing my luggage happened here with NEOS airline. And can’t seem to find anyone knows what’s going on. We finally reported to lost & found. On our departure date, we experienced how indifferent the airport staff are. We almost missed our flight, the line to security is at least 1.5 hrs long. And since we had a Young Child with us, we had to go through all passports instead of the quick line for no visa access. I tried to communicate with the lady and the gentleman working on the quick lane, we are missing our flight. They didn’t seem to care at all. At the end we had to talk to all the passengers ahead of us to skip the line. God bless all these nice ppl. and the lady staff stood at the security glanced at my bag from duty free, made a comment that “you had time to shop in duty free”. I mean who are you the judge if I bought a few boxes of chocolates for my daughter? You didn’t help me and i don’t need your judgement now! Not impressed by the airport staff’s customer service if there’s any at all.

✅ Trip Verified | Each time I come back to Milan Malpensa from other airports I long for the quick and modern security checks installed here. I left on the evening of a small holiday period and there were thousands of travellers. Despite this the security checks (at Terminal 1) handled the crowd without problems, we waited about 12 min for the whole process. Being able to carry liquids, to leave computers in the bags mean really accelerating the flow and guaranteeing a quick check. After that the airport is nice, there are seats to wait before boarding, a lot of shops and restaurants; possibly some more gates should be added.

Not Verified | No seating when you pass security control, everyone sitting on long steel pole, plenty of room to put seating in place, no idea why management have not thought of this, terrible for people waiting. Also water filter would be useful like most airports.

Not Verified |   People don't know what service means. We have been waiting in the arrival hall for an hour for our bags to come. No one in charge no information. Οι άνθρωποι δεν ξέρουν τι σημαίνει εξυπηρέτηση ...Περιμένουμε στη αίθουσα αφίξεως εδώ και μία ώρα για να έρθουν οι ταξιδιωτικές μας βαλίτσες... Κανένας υπεύθυνος καμία ενημέρωση.

✅ Trip Verified | Airport staff very friendly and helpful but airport is actually the modern building with a minor older satellite terminal from where a low cost company exclusively operates. It needs better - highlited signals.
