Manila Airport customer review
Kay Robins (Australia)
I arrived on a flight from Ho Chi Minh travelling alone with a little 3 year old who was sick and required carrying and a 5 year old. The customs staff were excellent, attentive and showed considerable courtesy, ushering us through and providing practical assistance. The kindness the ground staff showed was very much appreciated and made my transit with a sick baby possible.

"overall quite good"
S Howard (United Kingdom)
I have heard so many horror stories about Manila Airport, anyway this is my experience, I arrived and went through passport check and straight to the luggage part of the airport, so far very good and fast and terminal 3 looked clean. However, it took over 45 minutes before I could pick up my luggage, not good. Delighted to see my friends are inside the airport unlike Cebu Airport where they are not allow inside the airport, overall quite good apart from waiting for my luggage.

"airport has really changed"
Eric Decamps (Philippines)
First time in Manila Terminal 3 since September last year. The airport has really changed. High speed internet, more seats, a food court, more shops, more restaurants and even a lounge where you can sleep and spend the night for a very affordable price. No more need to say "I hate Manila airport"!

Manila Airport customer review
Aditya Shrivastava (Australia)
Obviously dated heaving and obviously needs a new airport. Arrived just before CNY so fewer tourists. A bit musty friendly enough and lots of channels open so very quickly through immigration (10-15 minutes). Luggage arrived within 15 minutes. It's an old airport toilets after you leave the airport are best described as being on par with developing country airports but overall pleased that it wasn't as bad as I'd heard. Departed through PAL domestic terminal to Cebu the next day and checks were rudimentary and quick no major queues but flight delayed three hours and the hotel had told me to be there two hours before. So a four hour wait with no wi-fi and very little in terms of food options. Not as bad as it could be!

"Terminal 1 has finally been improved"
6 reviews Renard Teipelke (Germany)
Terminal 1 has finally been improved and will be better once all constructions are finished. Terminal 2 and 3 are usually fine and the best. Terminal 4 is a horror. Similar to Metro Manila overall, there is traffic everywhere and getting to and from the airport, as well as the check-in require much patience and faith.

"pretty basic and quite confusing"
M Evans (Philippines)
✅ Trip Verified | I’m specifically reviewing NAIA Terminal 3 for my Manila-BKK flight. One thing I like about this airport is the air-conditioning. The airport is pretty basic and quite confusing and leaves you nothing to do. I arrived at around 2.00am and asked the staff where I should go for my connecting flight and he just advised me to follow the signages (not that friendly). Passing through Immigration was a breeze and just took less than 5 minutes (it was around 4:00am) so it was not so crowded. Overall experience was so-so. Not that spectacular compared to other airports in Asia.

"We had no real problems"
1 reviews J Malley (United Kingdom)
✅ Trip Verified | Used Terminal 3 international, arriving and departing on Cathay Pacific. We had no real problems. Overall I would say that this terminal is adequate as it is large, so has space to include the facilities that terminals 1 and 2 don't have. Prior to landing we circled for 15 minutes waiting our slot. Arrival was straightforward. Immigration had about a 10 minute queue and the baggage wait was also about 10 minutes probably due to no other international flights at that time. We got a fixed rate taxi outside the terminal, and, despite it being about 5pm, reached our hotel in 30 minutes with no traffic delays. The terminal is modern and it is spacious so there was sufficient space if there were long queues. Departure was also easy. A queue of about 5 passengers to get into the terminal via a baggage x-ray. Check in had no queue and then immigration had a queue of about 10 minutes. Security check was also about 10 minutes. The aircon in the building was not fully functional so a little warm. There are an array of shops and eating places but we didn't use them. Our scheduled departure time was 20.55 but we left the gate at 20.45 so very good and took off at 21.00. I think there are not so many air traffic control issues at night. Certainly not the horror terminal of so many other reviews.

"bright and looks spacious"
Roberto Daniel Ligot (Philippines)
✅ Trip Verified | Manila International Airport Terminal 1 has been refurbished. Have been using this terminal during arrival and departures since 1994. It is more bright and looks spacious and the floor has been carpeted. Toilets are more clean, and A/Cs are good - cold inside the terminal. There are lounges on the upper floors - airside - which I use most of the time like Club Manila. I wish they could connect the 4 terminals by Metro Train,

"immigration really frustrating"
A. Douglas (Australia)
Not Verified | Airport authority please review the cleanliness status on this airport terminal 3 ceiling it looks like it hasn't been clean for a year and toilet faucets almost faded already the original colour. And the lines from arrival and departure in the immigration were really frustrating to see. We travel for how many hours then we need to queue for 40 minutes to an hour. It's really disappointing that the national government hasn't upgrade yet to fully technologically method of processing of passport. You should have enough staff to cater to the needs of the travellers who want to depart and coming. It was previously really efficient now gradually turning into old habits. Long lines, no immigration forms available, and staff looks like no direction. I hope airport authority read this review and assess the degrading service in the airport.

"Very poor service"
Jack Ryan (Canada)
Not Verified | 1) I've been traveling regularly to Manila airports. I will not really say much about the 4 Airport Terminals in Manila Philippines except about the toilets. They are clean alright as employees are there to clean them. Since these cleaners were always there and never leave, there is no privacy whatsoever when you use the toilets. They are polite but they also watch you most probably waiting to get tipped. I don't think this is a good idea in welcoming tourists. 2) WiFi is really bad, only half hour time limit. Even when you are "Connected" it's not really connected. Very poor service. Cannot get in touch to whomever you need to connect to. Must have improvement.
