Maastricht Aachen Airport

Not Verified | There is no smoking area in the airport and very little waiting room space. If your plane gets delayed as it happens to me and you smoke - you are stuck. Personnel here not going to help you anyhow, they will just be "sorry for the inconvenience" and smile. Also you can't buy any normal food here, just some bread with cheese. People working here extremely slowly, while having just 2-3 planes in the day. Horrible experience.

Only 2 immigration counters for all arrival passengers at Maastricht Aachen airport and over 200 passengers from 2 planes queued. Few shops in the airport and I could not find something hot wto eat. There are no real restaurants in this airport and only a few small shops. The transportation is awful. Only 1 bus route is operating and it is under a sparse schedule. Nearly 100 people waited for a bus. Some of them could not take on the bus, and had to wait for next departure 1 hour later. You have better to rent a driver if you land in this airport.
