Lamu Airport

The current airport consists of two buildings. The first houses the security scanners and the second an open air thatched building the manual check in. Very pleasant for small groups. A new terminal is being constructed and should be ready in a few years. Like most things in Lamu this is a simple functional relaxed airport. From the terminal you walk 200 meters to the fast boats for the 10 minute ride to Lamu Town or to Shela Beach.
