It serves northern Lapland and nearby Saariselkä ski resort and usually handles only daily flights to Helsinki and some European charter flights during winter time, so terminal isn't very big. It includes couple of shops and a cafe with minimal hassle and quite relaxed atmosphere. Check-in, security and luggage on arrival are all handled fast unless there happens to be several flights coming or going at the same time. You can rent a car, take a taxi or jump into a bus from the airport.
