Not Verified | The security check for the transit was very slow. Only one Security check (scanner) was active. The queue became so long that people started to panic (in fear of missing the other flight) and tried to break the queue and all. Request the authorities to atleast make 2-3 security scanners active for smooth transition.

Not Verified | Endless wait for luggage. Situation getting worst with each flight I take into this airport. International baggage arrival is a nightmare but domestic situation too is getting just as bad!

Not Verified | It is currently the worst airport in the country, when you have an airport in renovation, you should provide signage directing the way, no trolley was available at first at departure gate, many other passengers were complaining about not being able to transfer to international gates due to lack of proper lifts.

✅ Trip Verified | Airport should have recliners for passengers who have to wait for their flights during the night, if you have a business meeting or interview scheduled next day, an individual would be able to perform better.

✅ Trip Verified | The baggage delivery was very fast compared to other airports in India. The washrooms were also very clean. Retail shops in the airport village have a wide variety. Overall a very positive experience.

❎ Unverified | Compared to departure, arrivals at this airport was very bad. Baggage carousels and staff response is very bad. You have to wait in long queue’s after a long flight which you’ll feel exhausted. Lots of WiFi connections will be available but none of them will connect if you’re coming from abroad without Indian sim, it’s very difficult to even make a phone call at this airport.

✅ Verified Review | Very bad arrival and pick up arrangements. Very narrow way out and confusing taxi pick up point. Actually no pick up point unless you are riding an airport taxi. If you have pre-booked cab then god save you. You might have to walk almost a kilometre before you get your cab. Most passengers are confused and have no clue where to go. Even the prepaid taxi counter is bad and has no queue and you can barge in. Counters also have a display that they do not accept credit cards and expect you to bring exact cash. I come here almost every 2 weeks. Departure is decent but arrivals are stupidly bad.

✅ Verified Review | Arrival: Fast and efficient, easy to understand with sign boards all over the place. Once you come out, easy to locate transportation and hotel options and very neat and clean eateries. Departure: Very well organised and efficient at check in counters. Post security check the shopping options are plenty and the look and the feel is truly fantastic. No smelly washrooms here!

✅ Verified Review | Due to more domestic flights serving the airport than international flights, the queue to the baggage checks at the domestic section of the departure hall is very long. It took me about 30 minutes to get my baggage checked by the machines because of the queue. Therefore I can imagine queue at the Immigration counter for outbound international flights will be longer. The passenger terminal building looks smaller than Changi Airport Terminal 1 and passengers are not allowed to access to the airport offices of airlines unfortunately. One has to engage the Information counter staff's help to call the relevant airline office staff to arrange a meeting and therefore almost impossible to get any airline travel brochure. One can only buy tickets through the windows of the ticketing offices of the airlines next to the entrance of the building. The Plaza Premium Lounge after the Immigration serves healthy Indian food and it is the most attractive place of the airport to be in. There is the airport transit hotel in the basement managed by the Plaza Network of lounges while the Novotel Hotel of the airport is way outside from a passenger's view at the airport, meaning one has to travel by taxi to reach the Novotel Hyderabad Airport Hotel. Overall, it is a good airport for transit flights to Chennai, Vijaywada and Coimbatore.

Immigration at Hyderabad Airport took more than one hour, very frustrating for many many passengers. Lack of adequate immigration staff today. Also, for entire two hour period at airport, there is only one song being piped throughout the airport. Does airport really lack ability to add a stock of instrumental music? It is a most boring airport.
